For new creators, what sells best is per item content and personal attention: pay-per-view posts, paid messages, tips and custom requests. On OnlyFans these made up about 73% of revenue in the financial year to November 2025, while subscriptions were about 27% and falling. Generic posts with no interaction sell worst. Start with small, easy yes offers, then add bundles and customs once fans are buying.
The 73% figure comes from onlyfansstatistics.com, reading the audited filing of OnlyFans’ parent company (September 2026): pay-per-view, tips and messages grew 20% to about $1.13 billion, subscriptions fell about 10% to about $422 million. Most creators still earn little (the estimated median is about $180 a year per account), so these are directions, not income promises.
| Format | Price range (vendor estimate) | Notes for a new page |
|---|---|---|
| Single photo | $3 to $10 | A good first purchase |
| Photo set (5 to 10 images) | $10 to $25 | New pages often start 20% to 40% lower |
| Short clip (1 to 3 minutes) | $10 to $25 | Works as pay-per-view or a paid message |
| Quick custom | $15 to $30 | Agree details in messages first |
| Standard custom | $30 to $75 | Once you have repeat buyers |
Ranges are from fansly.click (22 February 2026, updated 4 April 2026); the new page discount is from Outseeker (2026). Both are vendor estimates, not measured averages. More on pricing in how much to charge and pay-per-view.
A bundle here means several pieces sold together for less than their separate prices, for example three sets as one pay-per-view post. Vendor guides also suggest multi month subscription discounts, such as 15% off for three months (fansly.click, a vendor estimate). Bundles work best once you know which content a fan already bought.
Customs are made for one fan and agreed in messages before you start: what, how long, the price, and the delivery date. Say no to anything outside your line, every time. On HerFans custom requests are agreed in messages and delivered as a paid message, and anyone else who appears in content needs their own verification and a signed consent and release before it is published. Read selling custom content.
Tips and paid messages need no production schedule. A fan who enjoys a conversation tips or unlocks a message because of the attention, not because of a new photo. For a new creator that is the cheapest income to start: reply to every subscriber who writes, remember what they told you, and offer a paid message only when it fits the conversation. On a safe for work platform the same pattern shows up in company figures: Fanfix said over 60% of creator revenue came from paid direct messages (Socialday, 28 July 2026, a company figure).
After a month, list every sale by format and price. Keep the two formats that sold, drop the one that did not, and raise prices slowly on what sells out. On HerFans tracked links report clicks, sign-ups and money for each place you post, so you can also see which audience buys, not only which one clicks.
There is no public, measured data on earnings by niche. Agency rankings exist, for example fitness at “$500 to $10,000+/month” (Aruna Talent, 9 March 2026), but those are agency estimates for their best accounts and most creators earn far less. Pick a niche you can post in for a year, not the one with the biggest claimed number. See niches and content ideas.

Fans subscribe, tip and unlock your content. You ask for a payout from your dashboard once your available balance reaches the published minimum. Each sale is pending for 30 days, the period in which refunds and most card disputes arrive, and 10% of it is held as a reserve until day 120. For a sale paid by card, the reserve is held longer, up to day 206, because our card processor keeps its own reserve on that payment for 26 weeks and it is released to you once it has been returned to us.
