To sell exclusive content to your followers, keep your best everyday posts free, put something clearly extra behind a paywall (behind the scenes, early access, longer cuts, Q&As, tutorials, photo sets, paid messages or custom requests), price the first offer low enough to be an easy yes, and announce it on Instagram and TikTok in a way that follows their rules. Per item sales usually matter more than the subscription: pay-per-view, tips and messages were about 73% of OnlyFans revenue in its financial year to November 2025.

That figure comes from onlyfansstatistics.com, reading the audited filing of OnlyFans’ parent company (September 2026). Subscriptions were the remaining 27% and fell about 10% that year. For you, it means a follower who subscribes is the start, not the sale.

What stays free and what goes behind the paywall

Pricing

Public data on prices is thin, so treat these as starting points. A sample of 100,200 public OnlyFans profiles (June 2026) put the median paid subscription at $9.99, with about 37% of profiles free (onlyfansstatistics.com, an estimate from a non random sample). Vendor guides suggest photo sets at $10 to $25 and short clips at $10 to $25 (fansly.click, 22 February 2026, a vendor estimate), and pricing a new page 20% to 40% below established rates for the first weeks (Outseeker, 2026, a vendor estimate). On HerFans the subscription floor is $4.99 a month. Detail in how much to charge.

Delivery and protection

Your followers know your face and your name, which makes leaks more personal. On HerFans every paid photo and video is marked for the account that bought it, which helps trace a leak back to the buyer, and DMCA help is available. Read protecting your content from leaks.

Announcing it within Instagram and TikTok rules

Meta’s policy on sexual solicitation (last updated 14 May 2025) limits “Content that contains usernames, links to or logos of Adult Subscription Websites” to adults 18 and over, and removes “Content that asks for, offers or provides methods of contact to acquire pornographic material”, along with offers of “Sex chats or conversations” and “Sharing of nude imagery”. DMs follow the same rules as posts. TikTok’s Community Guidelines (effective 24 September 2026) do not allow “Facilitating access to sexual services, such as offering or asking for sexual acts, sexual chats or imagery, or pornography”, and TikTok reads bios, hashtags and captions to judge intent.

For platform specific rules read the Instagram bio link rules and promoting on TikTok. For lifestyle accounts, see monetizing Instagram followers, and for a non nude approach, a non nude fan page.

Most followers will never pay, and that is normal; plan around the few who do. Create your free page or read more for creators.

How to start in three steps

1

Create your free page

Sign up in seconds with email, pick a creator name, and set up your profile. No upfront cost.

2

Add your content

Upload photos and videos, set a monthly subscription price, and lock premium posts behind pay-per-view.

3

Get paid

Fans subscribe, tip and unlock your content. You ask for a payout from your dashboard once your available balance reaches the published minimum. Each sale is pending for 30 days, the period in which refunds and most card disputes arrive, and 10% of it is held as a reserve until day 120. For a sale paid by card, the reserve is held longer, up to day 206, because our card processor keeps its own reserve on that payment for 26 weeks and it is released to you once it has been returned to us.
