Prohibited content and conduct

This list is not a summary. It is the complete set of things that are never allowed on HerFans, by anyone, under any circumstances, whether the content is public, behind a paywall, or sent in a private message.

Applies to every account, every upload, every message and every profile. Last updated: October 5, 2026.

Everyone on HerFans is 18 or over. Everyone who appears in content on HerFans was 18 or over when it was made, and agreed in writing to it being published here.

Those two sentences are the foundation. Everything below follows from them. If you cannot say both about something you want to post, do not post it.

What this policy applies to

Everything below applies equally to real footage, to content that only suggests or implies something, to drawings, cartoons and animation, and to titles, captions, tags, categories, hashtags, usernames, profile text, search terms and anything an affiliate writes to promote a page here. The fact that nobody real was involved does not put content outside this list, and neither does having bought it from a studio. Content generated or altered by artificial intelligence is not allowed on HerFans at all, whatever it shows (section 8).

Captions, titles, names, usernames, bios, tags, service descriptions and messages may not contain any term on our list of prohibited terms. Text that contains one is refused when it is written, and the term is named so it can be changed.

1. Minors, and anyone who could be taken for a minor

This is the line we enforce hardest, and the one where we act before we investigate rather than after.

2. Consent

Every identifiable person in a piece of content must have agreed, in writing, before it is published.

3. Violence and coercion

Consensual adult content is welcome. Depictions of harm are not.

4. Categories that are never permitted

These are refused outright, with no exception for consent, fiction, humour or artistic intent.

5. Drugs and regulated goods

6. Prostitution, escorting and off-platform selling

HerFans sells access to content. It does not arrange meetings, and it is not a marketplace for anything else.

7. Pointing fans elsewhere

You may put your own social media handle on your content as a caption or a small watermark, and you may share your own contact details with a fan in private messages. Posts, stories, videos and profiles on HerFans may not carry QR codes, Snapcodes or any other scannable code, links to or advertising for other subscription or paid content platforms, or payment handles and payment links of any kind. Content like this is held and you are asked to upload it again without the code or the link. It does not lead to any penalty on your account.

8. AI generated content, fraud, impersonation and misuse of accounts

9. How pages here may be promoted

Every page here must be advertised within these rules, including by anyone a creator pays or partners with to do it.

What happens when someone breaks these rules

We do not run a warning system for the serious categories. Sections 1 to 4 above end an account on the first occurrence.

  1. 1
    Before anything is published

All content is moderated before publication. Only creators who have passed identity and age verification can upload: photographs of a government-issued document and a live camera check in the same session. Every photograph, video, story and attachment to a message, paid or not, is checked by automated image and video analysis against the list on this page before anyone else can see it, a video on frames taken through its whole length. Every caption, bio, name, tag and message is checked against our list of prohibited terms when it is written, and refused when it contains one. Anything the analysis flags, and anything it cannot judge, is held and reviewed by a person on our team before it can be published.

  2. 2
While a stream is live, and in messages

Live streams are sampled at short intervals while they run, through the same analysis, and a stream that shows prohibited content is stopped. Our team can end any stream at any moment. Private messages and chat are covered by the same rules as public posts, and anyone can report a message, a post or a profile to us.

  3. 3
    When a report arrives

Anything reported as illegal or as published without consent is taken out of circulation immediately, while we investigate, not after, and illegal or unconsented content is removed within 24 hours. That is the reverse of the usual order and it is deliberate: a person wrongly taken down loses a day of earnings, a person wrongly left up loses far more.

  4. 4
    Investigation

A person on our team reviews the content, the account, the verification records and the consent records on file. We contact the creator and, where relevant, the person who reported it. Every step is recorded against the case.

  5. 5
    Decision

Content that breaks these rules is removed permanently. The account is suspended or terminated depending on the category, and a terminated account cannot be replaced by a new one. Where the law requires it, we report to the authorities and preserve the evidence. Where a payment is involved we may reverse it.

  6. 6
    Appeal

If you believe we got it wrong, say so through the complaints form and a different person reviews the case. We answer appeals inside the same published deadline as any other complaint. A decision on suspected illegal content is not reversed on appeal without new evidence.

Seen something on this list?

Report it. You do not need an account, and you do not need to be the person affected. Every report is read by a person. If illegal or unconsented content is reported, it will be removed within 24 hours. All other complaints are dealt with in a fair and consistent manner, with the aim of resolving them to the complainant's satisfaction whenever possible within 5 days.
