Refunds and chargebacks

Written plainly, and matched to what actually happens when you pay. Last updated: October 1, 2026.

First, how paying works here

You buy from us, the company that operates HerFans, and we are the seller. Your purchase is made with us and your payment is received by us, not by the creator, so a refund is ours to give and ours to pay. The company is identified in our Legal Notice.

There are four things to buy here and no others: a monthly subscription to a creator, a pay-per-view post, a paid message, and a tip.

Only a monthly subscription paid by card repeats, and only until you cancel. A subscription paid by card renews every month on the same card until you cancel. We email you 3 days before each renewal, with the amount, the date and a link that cancels with one click. Cancel any time on your subscriptions page or on the creator's profile, and access stays until the end of the month you paid for; nothing more is charged. A subscription paid any other way, in practice in cryptocurrency, runs for the month you paid for and does not renew automatically: we email you 3 days and 1 day before it ends with a link to renew for the next month at her price, and if you do not renew, nothing is charged and access ends when the paid month is over. If the creator raises her price, the subscription does not renew at the new price unless you agree to it again: we email you, and it ends with the month you paid for. A bundle of several months is one payment for those months and does not renew. A post, a message and a tip are single purchases that never come back. No free trial turns into a paid plan.

You pay when you buy. A subscription to one creator opens her subscriber posts for the period you paid for, and a pay-per-view post is bought separately, by subscribers too. Today payments are processed by the cryptocurrency payment processor NOWPayments, and card payments will be added. A cryptocurrency payment is made on our secure payment page, for the exact price of what you are buying. Any remaining HerFans credit from before September 27, 2026 does not expire: it is used first on your purchases, or refunded on request.

If a cryptocurrency payment arrives short or over. If less arrives than the price, the purchase is not delivered: the payment page shows how much is missing, and you can send the rest to the same address while the payment is open, or we return what arrived. If more arrives than the price, the purchase is delivered and the difference is returned by hand on request.

So every refund question below is about one specific purchase: which one, when, and whether you got it.

Our refund policy, in short

You can ask for a refund of any purchase within 30 days of buying it. No reason needed. A subscription month, a post, a message and a tip alike, paid by card or in cryptocurrency. On your purchases page, open Report a problem with this purchase and choose I want a refund, or write to support@herfans.com with the date and amount. A person at HerFans reviews every request and replies by email within 5 business days. There is no automatic refund button.

After 30 days, we refund when something went wrong on our side, or the payment was not yours. The cases are listed below. Report them the same way.

You get instant access to what you buy. A post, a message, a month of a subscription and a tip are digital content available the moment you pay. Before your first purchase a short box says you will get instant access, and by pressing Confirm you ask for it and agree to our Terms and this policy. The payment page repeats it for every order, and your receipt confirms it.

Where the money goes. A refund goes back the way you paid. A card payment goes back to the same card, which is a rule of the card networks; banks usually show it within 5 to 10 business days. That timing is your bank's, not ours, so we give it as a guide rather than a promise. A payment made in cryptocurrency is sent back by hand, in the same coin, to a wallet address you give us. A purchase paid with HerFans credit goes back as credit.

What ends with it. Access to what you bought ends when it is refunded: a refunded subscription month ends the subscription at once and it does not renew, and a refunded post or message locks again.

Subscriptions. You can cancel a subscription at any time, on your subscriptions page or from the link in the email we send before every renewal, and nothing more is charged. The month you already paid for stays open to you until it ends.

Repeated refunds. The 30 days are there for honest mistakes. An account with more than 3 refunds in 30 days can no longer pay by card. An account with more than 5 refunds in 90 days, or that loses card payment a second time, can no longer buy anything on HerFans. Its account stays open, and it can write to support@herfans.com to talk about it. Refunds made through your bank or card network count too.

After 30 days, we refund when

Within 30 days of a purchase you can simply ask. After that, tell us about any of these and we will put it right: we fix the problem, or refund you if we cannot.

What we do not refund. More than 30 days after you bought it, a purchase that worked as described: changing your mind, not liking the content, or forgetting to cancel before a renewal we reminded you about.

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK. The law gives you 14 days to withdraw from a purchase made at a distance. For digital content that is not on a physical medium, that right ends once delivery has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose it. By pressing Confirm before your first purchase, and by paying on the payment page, you ask us to give you access at once and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal as soon as the content is available to you. We confirm this in the receipt we email you. Until the content is available to you, that right stands. Our own 30 day refund on request is offered on top of that and does not depend on it. Any right the law gives you where you live comes before this policy.

How to ask

  1. 1
With an account: use your purchases page

Open your purchases and press Report a problem with this purchase next to the charge. To get your money back within 30 days, choose I want a refund. For anything else, pick what went wrong and tell us in a sentence or two.

  2. 2
Without an account, or about anything else: write to us

Email support@herfans.com or use the complaints form (choose "Billing or charge"), with the date, the amount and the last four digits of the card. Never send a full card number to us or to anyone else.

  3. 3
We answer within 5 business days

A real person, not an automated reply. If we refund you, the money goes back the way you paid and we email you a confirmation.

  4. 4
Not sure a charge is ours?

The page about the text on your card statement explains how a HerFans charge reads and how to find it.

About chargebacks

A chargeback is you asking your bank to reverse a charge. It is your right, and it belongs where nothing else works: fraud, or a merchant who will not answer you.

It is the slow route. A bank dispute takes weeks and locks the money while it runs. Within 30 days of a purchase you can simply ask us for a refund, and we answer within 5 business days, so it is usually faster to try it first. You do not owe us that, and it is not a condition of anything.

If you do not recognise a charge, check our card statement page and your purchases list first. Every purchase is listed there with its date, amount and what it was for, so the two can be put side by side before anybody involves a bank.

What happens on our side when a chargeback is filed: the account it came from is closed, the way a suspension closes it, and its subscriptions stop. We answer the bank with the record of what was bought, when, and what was opened afterwards. If the bank decides for you we accept it. An account closed over a chargeback can ask to be reopened through appeals.

If you are a creator

The fan buys from us, not from you, so a refund is granted and paid by us as the seller. When a fan is refunded, or a bank reverses a payment, your whole remuneration for that sale is cancelled, and we give up our own revenue from it too. It shows as a correction in your earnings, next to the sale it belongs to, and you get an email that names the fan by username only.

That is why each sale is pending for 30 days before you can withdraw it, and 10% of it waits as a reserve until day 120. For a sale paid by card, the reserve is held longer, up to day 206, because our card processor keeps its own reserve on that payment for 26 weeks and it is released to you once it has been returned to us. Fans can ask for a refund within 30 days of a purchase, because a refund costs far less than a chargeback; after that we refund only for a problem on our side or a payment the cardholder did not make. Accounts that refund again and again lose the right to buy. A refund comes out of the pending money of that same sale first. A chargeback comes out of your reserve first, then your pending money, then your available balance; if all three are empty, your balance can go below zero, and payouts wait until it is back above.

A payout request that we cannot complete, or that you cancel, is returned to your balance in full. The full terms are in the creator agreement.

Refund and chargeback rates are watched, per creator. A page generating disputes far above the normal rate is a signal that something is being sold that is not what it says it is, and we look at it.
