Who you are buying from

You buy from the company that operates HerFans, and it is the seller. That company is identified in our Legal Notice, linked at the foot of every page. It sells you access to content and services on HerFans in its own name and on its own account, your contract of sale is with it, and your payment is received by it into its own account.

A creator is not a party to your purchase and does not receive your payment. She licenses her content to the operator, and the operator pays her for that licence from its own funds under the Content Creator Agreement. The operator does not receive or hold money on anybody's behalf.

Because it is the seller, the operator is the one responsible to you for the payment, for delivering what you bought, for refunds and for complaints, and it is the party that answers your bank if you dispute a charge.

How the charge appears on your statement

The exact card statement descriptor is published here before the first card payment is taken.

A card charge carries a short text on your statement that identifies who took the payment. The processor issues that text when the account is set up, and we publish it here, exactly as it will read, before the first card payment is taken. We are not guessing at it in the meantime.

Today payments are processed by the cryptocurrency payment processor NOWPayments, and card payments will be added. A cryptocurrency payment does not appear on a card statement. Your purchases are listed in your HerFans account, and the payment itself in the history of the wallet you paid from.

You pay when you buy: a subscription to one creator, a bundle of several months, a pay-per-view post, a paid message or a tip.

What you will and will not see. The descriptor never contains the words that would describe the nature of the site, and no creator's name ever appears on a statement. Email we send about a payment uses a neutral subject line for the same reason.

What repeats, and what does not. A monthly subscription to a creator paid by card renews every month on the same card, at the price you agreed to, until you cancel. We email you 3 days before each renewal. Cancel any time on your subscriptions page and access stays until the end of the month you paid for. A subscription paid any other way, in practice in cryptocurrency, runs for the month you paid for and does not renew automatically: we email you 3 days and 1 day before it ends with a link to renew for the next month at her price, and if you do not renew, nothing is charged and access ends when the paid month is over. A bundle of several months is one payment for those months and does not renew. Everything else is a single purchase that never comes back: a pay-per-view post, a paid message and a tip. Your account lists every charge, renewals included, each with its date and amount. You get access as soon as you pay. You can ask for a refund of any purchase within 30 days, no reason needed: on your purchases page choose Report a problem with this purchase, then I want a refund. After 30 days we refund technical problems on our side and payments you did not make. A refund ends access to what it bought. See refunds and chargebacks, also for what to do about a charge you did not expect.

How you pay today. You pay when you buy: a subscription to one creator, which opens her subscriber posts for the period you paid for, a bundle of several months, or a single pay-per-view post, paid message or tip. Today payments are processed by the cryptocurrency payment processor NOWPayments, and card payments will be added. A cryptocurrency payment is made on our secure payment page, for the exact price of what you are buying. Any remaining HerFans credit from before September 27, 2026 does not expire: it is used first on your purchases, or refunded on request.

New to crypto? Our step-by-step guide shows how to buy it with your card and pay: How to pay on HerFans.

If a cryptocurrency payment arrives short or over. If less arrives than the price, the purchase is not delivered: the payment page shows how much is missing, and you can send the rest to the same address while the payment is open, or we return what arrived. If more arrives than the price, the purchase is delivered and we return the difference by hand on request, in the same coin, to a wallet address you give us.

Prices, and how to stop paying

Every price is shown in full before you pay, in the currency you will be charged in, with no charge added afterwards. A subscription price is the price of one month, and the button says so before you press it. A pay-per-view post and a paid message each show their own price on the item itself.

Your dates are in your subscriptions list. Every subscription you hold is listed there with its price and the date it renews or ends. For a subscription paid by card we email you 3 days before every renewal, with the amount, the date and a button that cancels it with one click, without signing in. For a subscription paid any other way we email you 3 days and 1 day before it ends, with a link to renew for the next month. These emails cannot be switched off, because they are about your money. If the creator raises her price, the subscription does not renew at the new price without your new agreement: we email you, and it ends with the month you paid for.

Every purchase is confirmed by email and listed in your account. Your purchases page shows each charge with its date, amount, creator and statement text, and lets you ask for a refund within 30 days or report a problem with any of them. We reply within 5 business days.

Free trials. A creator may give away free days with her on a trial link, from 1 to 90 days, and you are told the number of days when you use it. Each person can use a link once. A free trial does not ask for a card or any other payment details, no payment is taken during it or at the end of it, and there is no trial that converts into a paid plan: when the free days end, access ends, unless you choose to subscribe.

Promotional prices and bundles. A creator may run a discount on her monthly price, from 5% to 90% off, for a period of 1 to 60 days. While it runs, the discounted price and the date the discount ends are shown on the Subscribe button. A bundle of several months is one payment for those months, shown in full before you pay, and it does not renew.

How a card subscription is charged, unless you cancel. You pay for the first period in full when you subscribe. Unless you cancel, the same card is then charged again every 30 days after the first payment, by the same amount as the first payment: the subscription price you agreed to, plus the card service fee of 10%, both shown before you pay. A subscription bought at a promotional price renews at that same amount. The payment page states the amount, the period and the processor before you pay, and you agree to the renewal there. We email you 3 days before every renewal with the amount and the date. A subscription paid in cryptocurrency is never charged again by itself: it runs for the month paid for, and we email you 3 days and 1 day before it ends with a link to renew.

Tips. A tip is a single purchase and never repeats. A single tip is at most 100 USD.

Cancelling is yours to do, and there is no conversation in the way. Open your subscriptions list, or the creator's page, where the button reads Subscribed. Pressing it asks you plainly whether to cancel, and prints the date your access runs to: one answer cancels the subscription, the other keeps it, and nothing changes until you choose. No discount and no offer to stay is put in front of you at any point. For a subscription paid by card through Verotel you are then taken to Verotel's own page to confirm the cancellation there, which stops the card renewal at its source. You can also cancel a card subscription directly with Verotel at any time, at https://secure.verotel.com/cancellookup, and the renewal reminder email carries a cancel button as well. Once it is cancelled, nothing more is taken, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you can resume before that date without paying again. You do not have to email us, phone us or explain yourself.

Who handles your card details

A specialist payment processor handles card payments for the operator of HerFans, as the operator's service provider. Your card number is entered on their systems and stored by them, under their PCI DSS certification. It never reaches ours.

What we hold is the record of the payment: the amount, the date, the last four digits, the card brand and the result. That is enough to answer a question about a charge and not enough to make one.

We do not sell, rent or share payment data. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Don't recognize a charge?

  1. Check the descriptor above against your statement. Most unrecognised charges are simply a name nobody remembers.
  2. Check whether someone else uses the card. A shared card is by far the most common explanation.
  3. Write to us with the date, the amount and the last four digits. Never send a full card number by email, to us or to anyone.
  4. We will find the charge and tell you what it was for, or refund it. If the card was used without your permission we refund in full, close the account behind it, and keep the record for your bank.

If you have an account, your purchases page lists every charge, and you can report a problem with any of them there. We reply within 5 business days. If you do not know which account, the card statement page emails the purchase history to the address you give it.

You can also file a dispute with your bank at any time. It is your right, it is just slower. See refunds and chargebacks.
