To sell workout videos online, package them the way people actually train: a monthly subscription for regular new sessions, and fixed programs sold as one purchase, such as a four week strength plan or a beginner yoga series. Add personal touches as separate products, like a form check or a voice message with a custom routine. Price the subscription close to a gym app, the programs by how many weeks of training they deliver, and mark every paid video for the buyer so it cannot be passed around unnoticed.
Fitness and yoga creators have an advantage most niches do not: the content is useful on its own. People come back to a good routine for months. The challenge is that a lot of excellent training is free on social media, so what you sell has to be more structured, more personal or more complete than what you post publicly.
There are two ways to charge for workout videos, and most successful creators use both. A subscription pays for an ongoing relationship. A program pays for a result. They suit different buyers.
| Monthly subscription | Program sold as pay-per-view | |
|---|---|---|
| What the fan gets | New sessions every week, progress posts, check-ins, messaging | A complete plan with a start and an end, kept after purchase |
| Best for | Fans who like training with you and want routine | People with a goal and a deadline |
| Your workload | Steady, every week | Heavy once, then it sells again with little upkeep |
| Risk | Fans cancel when posting slows down | Sales depend on promotion |
The data on fan platforms points the same way. In OnlyFans’ financial year to November 2025, pay-per-view, tips and paid messages grew 20% to about $1.13 billion, roughly 73% of its revenue, while subscription revenue fell about 10% (onlyfansstatistics.com, citing company filings, September 2026). A subscription alone leaves money on the table. Programs and personal extras are where people spend more.
There is no single right price, and the numbers below are starting points to test, not a forecast of what you will earn. Agency estimates put the median fan subscription around $7.50 to $9.99 a month and photo sets around $10 to $20. Training content has a useful reference point that most niches lack: gym memberships and fitness apps, which fans already compare you with.
| Product | Price to test | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly subscription | $7.99 to $14.99 | Two or three new sessions a week makes this an easy yes |
| Single class or routine | $5 to $10 | A good first purchase for someone new to your page |
| Four week program | $25 to $49 | Video sessions plus a written schedule, sold once |
| Form check or custom routine | $15 to $50 | Agreed in messages, delivered as a paid video or voice note |
Subscription bundles help with the biggest weakness of monthly pricing: people quit when motivation drops. Offer three or six months at a discount and the fan commits to a training block instead of a single month. For more on setting numbers, see how much to charge and the pay-per-view guide.
Write out the plan, not just the videos. A one page schedule with sets, reps or hold times turns a folder of clips into a program people finish, and finished programs are what bring buyers back for the next one.
Live one to one sessions do not scale. Asynchronous coaching does. A subscriber messages you with a goal, or a short description of how a lift feels, and you agree what you will make and what it costs. You then record a custom routine or a form tip and send it as a paid message: a locked video or voice note with its price set before it goes, anywhere from $5 to $500. The subscriber unlocks it when it arrives. Read how to sell custom content for how to describe and price this kind of work, and say clearly what is included so nobody is surprised by the price.
A program is the easiest kind of content to share with a friend. On HerFans every paid photo and video carries your page link and is marked for the account that bought it, so if a program leaks you can see which buyer it came from. You can also block whole countries from seeing your page, which some trainers use to keep clients from their own city separate from online fans.
Keep your public channels doing what they do best: free tips, transformations and short form clips on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, with a neutral link in bio that leads to your page. On HerFans, people browsing fitness creators and yoga and wellness creators can follow you for free before they pay for anything.
HerFans is for women creators 18 and over. Every creator passes identity verification and a profile review before her page goes public. Create your free page, or read more for creators.

Fans subscribe, tip and unlock your content. You ask for a payout from your dashboard once your available balance reaches the published minimum. Each sale is pending for 30 days, the period in which refunds and most card disputes arrive, and 10% of it is held as a reserve until day 120. For a sale paid by card, the reserve is held longer, up to day 206, because our card processor keeps its own reserve on that payment for 26 weeks and it is released to you once it has been returned to us.
