The three big clip stores, ManyVids, Clips4Sale and IWantClips, all pay you 60% of a clip sale and 80% of a tip. They differ on how often they pay, how they treat custom clips and how much traffic they bring. If you already have fans who buy from you, a site that pays 80% on single clips, such as HerFans, pays you $80 of every $100 where a store pays $60. If you need a marketplace to find buyers for you, Clips4Sale and ManyVids still bring the most.

Every figure below comes from each store’s own help center, rate card or terms, read in September 2026. We run HerFans, which competes with all of them, so we have tried to be exact about where each rival is the better choice. Where a store does not publish a number, the table says so instead of repeating a figure from a forum.

What is the best site to sell clips?

For reach, Clips4Sale. It has been running since 2003, it is the default marketplace for fetish and kink clips, and fans search it directly by category and keyword. For a mainstream catalogue that mixes clips with a paid club and tips, ManyVids. For the most money per sale on clips you sell to your own audience, a site that does not take 40% of a clip. The best setup for most sellers is a store for discovery plus one place where your regulars pay you the higher share.

How much do clip sites take from creators?

The published clip rate is the same at the three big stores: they keep 40% and you get 60%. The split changes on other products. Tips pay 80% everywhere, custom clips pay 80% at ManyVids and Clips4Sale, and IWantClips passes 100% of a custom price to you and charges the buyer a fee instead.

Two details are easy to miss. Clips4Sale holds custom clip money until the buyer approves the delivery, and it enrolls every store in its Expanded Traffic and Advanced Mail programs by default, which you can leave with a form. ManyVids asks US creators to file a W-9 before they can even add a payment method, so budget a few minutes for tax paperwork before your first payout.

Is ManyVids or Clips4Sale better for selling clips?

On price per clip, neither: both pay 60%. ManyVids pays faster, weekly on Wednesdays with a seven day delay, while Clips4Sale pays once a month on the 7th. Clips4Sale wins on fetish discovery and on its long running customer base; ManyVids wins if you also want a paid membership club and a store for merch at 80%. Clips4Sale has no photo set product at all, so if photo sets are part of what you sell, that points to ManyVids.

If ManyVids is the store you are thinking of leaving, our page on sites like ManyVids compares it against subscription platforms too, and our Clips4Sale review covers its seller terms line by line, including what the chargeback promise in its help center does and does not cover.

What does 60% versus 80% mean in dollars?

Here is one month of $1,000 in clip sales, before payout fees and taxes. FetishFinder pays the highest share on paper but charges every seller a monthly plan whether she sells or not, which is why the plan is in its own column.

$1,000 of clip sales in a monthYou receiveMonthly planNet
ManyVids$600None$600
Clips4Sale$600None$600
IWantClips$600None$600
FetishFinder Basic$900 by its terms ($850 by its FAQ)$4.99$895.01 ($845.01 by its FAQ)
FetishFinder Premium$1,000 by its terms ($900 by its FAQ)$14.99$985.01 ($885.01 by its FAQ)
HerFans$800None$800

On every $1,000 of clips, a 60% store pays you $600 and HerFans pays $800. Over a year of steady sales that is real money, and it is the reason many clip sellers keep a marketplace store for new buyers but send their regulars somewhere that takes less. The honest counterweight is timing: HerFans holds each sale for 30 days before it can be paid out and keeps 10% as a reserve until day 120, so the first month on a new site pays nothing out.

Can you sell the same clips on more than one site?

Most clip sellers do, and it is the normal way to reach more buyers. The rate cards we read do not charge you for listing elsewhere, but check each store’s terms and any exclusive program you opt into before you duplicate a catalogue. Two practical rules help: keep your prices consistent so buyers do not feel cheated on one store, and keep your release paperwork for every performer in every clip, since each store asks for it.

Where HerFans fits for clip sellers

HerFans is a subscription platform where a single clip is sold as a paid post. You set a price from $5 to $999, upload files up to 1 GB, and keep 80% of every unlock, tip, paid message and subscription. Every copy a fan buys is stamped with that fan’s handle and account number, so a leaked clip points back to the buyer. You ask for a payout once your available balance reaches $10, and it goes to an IBAN or a PayPal account in your own name.

What it is not: a clip marketplace with millions of shoppers searching by fetish category. HerFans is newer and smaller than any store on this page, and creators are women only. It works best for the fans who already follow you, the ones who would otherwise pay a store 40% to buy from you. Our guide to selling videos online walks through setting up paid posts, and if your catalogue leans kink, selling fetish content covers which rules differ.

1

HerFans

Highest share with no plan

HerFans sells a clip as a paid post at the price you choose, and you keep 80% of it, the same share on tips, paid messages and subscriptions. There is no monthly seller plan and no listing fee. Every buyer’s copy carries the buyer’s handle and account number, which makes a leak traceable.

The limits are honest ones: sales are pending for 30 days, 10% stays in reserve until day 120, and the audience is smaller than any marketplace here. Use it for the fans who already buy from you.

2

Clips4Sale

Best for fetish traffic

The oldest store in the category and still the default search for fetish buyers. Clips pay 60%, tips and customs 80%, and paid messages 80%. The minimum clip price is $3.99. Payouts go out once a month on the 7th with a $50 minimum for US creators, free by ACH or check. There is no photo set product, and new stores are enrolled in its traffic and mail programs unless you opt out.

3

ManyVids

Best all in one store

ManyVids pays 60% on Vids, Vid Bundles and Pay To Open, and 80% on its Club, Customs, Tips and Store. It pays weekly on Wednesdays, seven days in arrears, from $50. If you want a membership club, a merch store and clip sales in one account, it is the most complete of the three big stores. US creators must submit a W-9 before adding a payout method.

4

IWantClips

Best for custom clips

Clips pay 60%, pay to view messages 70%, tips 80% and video calls 85%. Custom clips are the standout: you receive 100% of your price and the buyer pays a convenience fee on top. Payouts run twice a month on the 12th and 27th, or monthly on the 5th, from $50. Items with no sales for 12 months are archived, so keep an eye on older listings.

5

FetishFinder

Highest share, with a plan

FetishFinder’s FAQ says you keep 85% on Basic and up to 90% on Premium, while its terms set the fee at 10% and 0%, the lowest cut here either way, but every seller pays a plan: $4.99 a month for Basic or $14.99 for Premium, with yearly and lifetime options. Its FAQ promises weekly payouts with no minimum while its terms mention a minimum and a 30 day review, so ask before you rely on either.

Set any price from $5 to $999 per clip, upload files up to 1 GB, and bundle older clips for regulars.

✓

No plan to pay for

Opening a page costs nothing and there is no monthly seller plan. The one fee is 20% of what you sell.

How to start in three steps

1

Create your free page

Sign up in seconds with email, pick a creator name, and set up your profile. No upfront cost.

2

Add your content

Upload photos and videos, set a monthly subscription price, and lock premium posts behind pay-per-view.

3

Get paid

Fans subscribe, tip and unlock your content. You ask for a payout from your dashboard once your available balance reaches the published minimum. Each sale is pending for 30 days, the period in which refunds and most card disputes arrive, and 10% of it is held as a reserve until day 120. For a sale paid by card, the reserve is held longer, up to day 206, because our card processor keeps its own reserve on that payment for 26 weeks and it is released to you once it has been returned to us.

Is ManyVids or Clips4Sale better?
Both pay 60% on clips and 80% on tips and customs. ManyVids pays weekly and adds a paid club and a merch store; Clips4Sale pays monthly, has no photo set product, and brings the strongest fetish search traffic. Choose by what you sell and how fast you need the money.
How much does Clips4Sale take from creators?
Clips4Sale keeps 40% of a clip sale and 20% of tips, custom clips and paid messages, so you receive 60% and 80%. It pays on the 7th of each month from $50 for US creators, and ACH and paper check payouts are free.
How much does ManyVids take from clips?
ManyVids keeps 40% of Vids, Vid Bundles and Pay To Open sales, so you receive 60%. Its Club, Customs, Tips and Store pay 80%. Payouts are weekly on Wednesdays, seven days in arrears, with a $50 minimum.
Can I sell my clips on multiple sites?
Yes, most clip sellers list the same catalogue on more than one store to reach more buyers. Check each store’s terms and any exclusive program before you duplicate, keep prices consistent, and keep a signed release for every performer in every clip.
Do I need a W-9 to sell clips in the US?
Yes. US clip stores ask for a W-9 so they can report what they pay you. ManyVids requires it before you can add a payment method, and Clips4Sale asks for a signed W-9 when you open a store. The income is self-employment income either way.
