LoyalFans Payouts and Payment Problems for Creators
Free to join, one flat fee on what you sell, and no monthly seller subscription.
LoyalFans pays creators 80% of every fan payment, automatically, twice a month. Money earned from the 1st to the 15th is paid within 7 working days after the 15th, and money earned from the 16th to month end within 7 working days after month end. The minimum payout is $50, smaller balances roll over, and LoyalFans pays by ACH, wire transfer, SEPA or Paxum.
None of that is in LoyalFans’ help center, which is why so many creators think it is not published. It is on a separate payout page and in the Terms of Service, last modified on 8 July 2026, which we read in full on 1 October 2026 along with the referral terms and all 29 help center articles. We run HerFans, a competing platform, so we quote LoyalFans’ own wording wherever it matters and say plainly where it beats us.

How do LoyalFans payouts work?
LoyalFans takes its fee before anything reaches you. The Terms of Service say: “Our fee is 20% of the total Fan Payment and will be deducted from each Fan Payment.” What is left sits in your balance, and once that balance meets the minimum it is eligible for automatic payout. You do not press a withdraw button the way you do on OnlyFans or Fansly. LoyalFans sends the money on its schedule.
The schedule runs on two pay periods a month.
| You earned it between | The period closes | LoyalFans pays within | Example in October 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| The 1st and the 15th | The 15th | 7 working days after the 15th | A sale on October 3 is paid by Monday, October 26 |
| The 16th and the last day of the month | The last day of the month | 7 working days after month end | A sale on October 16 is paid by Tuesday, November 10 |
So the wait depends on when the fan paid. A tip on the 15th waits about 11 days. A subscription renewal on the 1st waits up to about 25. Neither the payout page nor the terms say whether “within 7 working days” means the day the money leaves LoyalFans or the day it lands, and the terms add that payout timing may vary depending on the method you chose.
All fan payments and creator earnings are in US dollars, and conversion fees charged by your bank or e-wallet are yours to pay. The contract is with TLFPAY, LLC, a Delaware company, and the terms say payouts may be made by TLFPAY Services, Intermark or other affiliated entities, so the name on your deposit may not say LoyalFans.
What is the LoyalFans minimum payout?
$50. The payout page says LoyalFans’ minimum payout threshold is $50.00, and that earnings below it roll over to the next payment period until the threshold is met. The terms add one caveat: the minimum, the fees and the methods available vary by payout method and by your country, and the exact figures are displayed in your account settings. For a US creator on ACH, plan around $50.
That is higher than OnlyFans and Fansly, where most methods start at $20. For a new page earning $30 a week it means a payout every other period instead of every period.
LoyalFans payout methods and fees
The payout page names four methods: ACH, wire transfer, SEPA and Paxum. LoyalFans publishes no fee figures. The terms say some methods carry processing fees charged by the payment provider, deducted from your earnings at the time of payout, and that any fees are shown in your account settings for each method.
| Payout method | Named by LoyalFans | Fee | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| ACH to a US bank | Yes, on its payout page | Shown in your account settings | The usual choice for a US creator |
| Wire transfer | Yes | Shown in your account settings | Your bank may charge to receive it |
| SEPA | Yes | Shown in your account settings | For euro accounts |
| Paxum | Yes | Shown in your account settings | An e-wallet with its own fees to move money on |
| Crypto or paper check | No | Not applicable | Not on the payout page or in the terms |
One agency blog lists ACH, SEPA and Paxum as free and an international wire at $45, but LoyalFans does not confirm those numbers publicly, so check the figure next to each method before you pick one. If you want to switch, do it early. The payout page says changes must be made at least two business days before the current period closes. The terms say 48 hours before the scheduled payout date, meaning before the 1st or the 16th. Use the earlier deadline and you are covered either way.
LoyalFans payment problems and why a payout goes missing
Most missing payouts trace back to something written in the terms. These are the ones creators run into.
| What you see | The likely reason in LoyalFans’ own terms | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Balance did not pay out | It is under the $50 threshold, so it rolled over to the next period | Nothing. It pays once the total passes $50 |
| Paid to the old account | You changed the payout method too late in the period | Change methods at least two business days before the 15th or month end |
| Payout smaller than expected | A refund or chargeback LoyalFans judged valid was deducted, or a provider fee came off | Check the deduction and dispute it within 30 days if you think it is wrong |
| Earnings on hold | An investigation or review is open, during which LoyalFans may withhold any part of your earnings | Email [email protected], the only support channel |
| Old balance gone | Earnings that could not be paid for 12 months because of wrong account details are forfeited | Keep your payout details current, even on a quiet account |
The chargeback clause is fairer than most. LoyalFans may deduct a refund or chargeback it decides was valid and not the result of fraud or bad faith, but the terms say it will not hold creators responsible for chargebacks caused by unauthorized payment fraud or platform errors, and you have 30 days to dispute a deduction. Fans, meanwhile, are told that subscriptions, one-time payments and tips are non-refundable except where the law requires it.
The clause that worries creators is the review power. During any investigation LoyalFans may pause fan payments, withhold any part of your earnings, and afterwards treat any part of them as forfeited or use them to offset its own loss. If you disagree you must dispute under its complaints policy within six months, or you waive the right. A few one-star Trustpilot reviews from creators describe exactly this: an account closed shortly before a payout and the balance not paid. LoyalFans holds a 1.7 TrustScore across 51 reviews on a profile it has not claimed, and the only support channel is email.
If you are a fan and your card payment failed, that is a different problem. LoyalFans bills under the name LoyalBills, and several reviews mention banks flagging the charge as fraud. Calling the bank to approve it usually clears it.
Do you get a 1099 from LoyalFans?
The creator terms do not say. They state that creators are solely responsible for their own tax affairs and name no W-9 or 1099 for creator earnings. The only US form named anywhere on loyalfans.com is the 1099-MISC in the referral program terms, for referral income. Either way the income is taxable. Nothing is withheld, so self-employment tax of 15.3% and income tax are on you, and from 2026 a 1099-NEC is only required above $2,000, which does not change what you owe. Setting aside a share of every payout and running a simple profit and loss statement each quarter makes the estimated payments much easier to get right.
How LoyalFans payouts compare with other platforms
On the share, LoyalFans is level with the big subscription platforms. Where it differs is that it pays you automatically on a fixed calendar, which suits a creator who does not want to remember to withdraw, and that its minimum is higher.
| Platform | Creator share | When it pays | Minimum |
|---|---|---|---|
| LoyalFans | 80% | Automatically, twice a month, within 7 working days after the 15th and month end | $50 |
| OnlyFans | 80% | On request after about 7 days pending, or on an automatic schedule you set | $20 for most methods |
| Fansly | 80% | On request after 7 days pending, approval in about 48 hours | $20 by US ACH |
| Fanvue | 80% after month one | On request after about 7 days pending | $20 and 5 uploads |
| ManyVids | 80% memberships, 60% clips | Weekly on Wednesday, 7 days in arrears | $50 |
| HerFans | 80% | On request within 3 business days, after 30 days pending per sale | $10 |
HerFans is the slowest here to a first payout and we would rather say so. Each sale is pending for 30 days, the window in which refunds and most card disputes arrive, and 10% stays in reserve until day 120. After that you request a payout from $10 and it is sent within 3 business days. For the same comparison on Fansly and Fanvue, see our guides to Fansly payouts and Fanvue payouts, and for the share each platform keeps, creator payout percentage by platform.
Is LoyalFans worth it for the payouts?
If your fans are already there, yes. 80% is the market rate, the schedule is written down, and you never have to request a withdrawal. The weak points are a $50 floor, fees you only see after you sign up, broad powers to withhold during a review, and support that answers by email only. Our full LoyalFans review covers the rest of the platform, and if you are thinking of moving, LoyalFans alternatives compares where else to take your fans.
Where HerFans fits
HerFans is a subscription platform for women who sell photos and video of themselves. You keep 80% of every subscription, paid post, paid message and tip, with no monthly plan and no payout fee from us, and the fee is printed on our pricing page rather than in a contract you read after signing up. A person reviews every creator’s ID before she can publish or be paid. Many creators keep LoyalFans for the fans who found them there and run a HerFans page for the ones who follow them from social media. You can compare the wider field in our guide to adult content creator platforms.
