Fanvue Account Banned and Where to Move Your Page
Free to join, one flat fee on what you sell, and no monthly seller subscription.
A banned or suspended Fanvue account is not always final. Fanvue’s own terms let you send a written reinstatement request to [email protected] within 14 days of the notice, and it says a reply usually comes within 10 business days. Until then, do not open a new Fanvue account, which its terms forbid, and do not count on your balance: Fanvue states that any unused Creator Balance may be forfeited on termination unless the law requires a refund.
We read Fanvue’s help center and its General Terms and Conditions in October 2026 for this article, and quote them directly so you can check every line. We run HerFans, another creator platform, which is where this article ends up, so read that part knowing who wrote it.
Why was my Fanvue account banned or suspended?
Fanvue’s help center lists five causes, and most suspensions fall into one of them. Accounts get caught for fraud signals they did not create themselves more often than people expect, because Fanvue links accounts that share payment details, similar usernames, similar email addresses or a pattern of subscribing to the same creators.
| Reason Fanvue gives | What it covers | Can you fix it? |
|---|---|---|
| Fraudulent spending activity | Suspicious transactions, unauthorized purchases, unusual spending | Only by showing the activity was genuine |
| Fraudulent usage activity | Spam, inappropriate content, rule breaking | Sometimes, by removing the content and appealing |
| Fraud in associated accounts | Accounts linked by payment details, similar usernames or emails, shared activity | Sometimes, by proving the accounts are not yours |
| ID and face picture mismatch | Inconsistent documents, or content showing someone other than the verified person | Yes, by verifying every person in your content |
| Non-compliance with the terms | Illegal activity, hate speech and other breaches | Rarely |
| AI or age appearance flags | AI images outside its age and theme rules, wording such as “girl” | Yes, by replacing the flagged images and wording |
The notice should tell you which one applies. Fanvue’s terms say it will provide reasons for enforcement decisions, including when a decision was made by automated moderation, though it may hold back specifics to protect an investigation or another user’s privacy.
Restricted, suspended or banned on Fanvue
A restriction is the version you can usually fix. Fanvue’s restriction article names three triggers: content that includes people other than you without documents proving their identity and consent, AI images that break its rules on age representation and themes, and flagged terms or themes that suggest someone under age. To lift it, Fanvue asks for valid photo ID and signed consent forms for everyone in your content, headshots and body shots with identifying marks such as tattoos, and profile images that reflect adults aged at least 20 to 22.
A suspension or termination is broader. Section 16 of the General Terms lets Fanvue remove content, suspend, restrict or permanently terminate an account “with or without notice” for a breach of its policies, payment, refund or chargeback abuse, risk to other users, or a legal requirement. The restriction article adds a warning worth taking seriously: after a recovery, future violations “will result in permanent suspension without a chance for reactivation.”
How do I get my Fanvue account back?
Send one written reinstatement request, and send it fast. The terms ask for it within 14 days of the notice, with a clear explanation and any supporting evidence, and say duplicate or abusive submissions may be disregarded. A response “will typically be issued within 10 Business Days, though this is not guaranteed”, and reinstatement is at Fanvue’s sole discretion.
- Read the notice and match it to a reason above. Answer that reason, not the whole history of your account.
- Gather the documents first. IDs and signed releases for anyone in your content, proof that a linked account is not yours, or replacement images for anything flagged.
- Write once, to the address in the terms. Keep it short and factual, attach everything, and keep a copy.
- Do not work around the ban. The terms bar you from registering a new account, using someone else’s login or payment method, or trying to get around enforcement, and Fanvue says it may use technical measures to detect it.
What happens to your Fanvue earnings if you are banned?
This is the part that costs creators the most. Section 16 says that on termination for any reason, “Any unused Credits or Creator Balance may be forfeited unless a refund is required by law.” Money still in your pending balance is also exposed: Fanvue holds each payment for 7 days as standard, and for up to 30 days if the fan has not verified their email.
The practical lesson applies to every platform, not only Fanvue. Withdraw whenever your available balance clears the minimum rather than letting it build up, and keep your own record of every sale and payout. A simple income tracker for creators that logs each payout makes it much easier to show what you were owed if you ever have to dispute a frozen balance. Our breakdown of Fanvue payouts covers the minimums and fees in detail.
Can you make a new Fanvue account after a ban?
No. Fanvue’s terms say that if your account is suspended or terminated you may not register a new account, use another user’s credentials or payment methods, or try to circumvent enforcement. Its verification links your ID and face to the account, so a second account under your identity is likely to be found and closed, along with whatever it earned. If the appeal fails, the realistic move is to another platform.

Where can you go after a Fanvue ban?
That depends on why you were banned, because the next platform will run its own checks on the same content.
| If Fanvue banned you for | Will another platform take you? | What to check first |
|---|---|---|
| Unverified people in your content | Yes, once every performer is verified | Collect IDs and signed releases before you post anything again |
| Photorealistic AI content | Not Fansly and not HerFans. Look for platforms that allow labeled AI creators | The new platform’s AI rules, in writing |
| Age appearance flags on real photos | Usually, if the content clearly shows an adult | Profile photos, captions and props that read as young |
| Payment or chargeback abuse by fans | Yes. That was not your conduct | Keep a record of the transactions Fanvue named |
| Off-platform selling | Yes, but most platforms ban it too | Sell inside the platform you join and nowhere else |
If your page was built on AI images, be realistic: Fansly bans photorealistic AI content even when it is labeled, and HerFans does not accept AI generated or AI edited content at all. Our page on Fanvue alternatives without AI creators explains how the platforms split on this. For everyone else, the full field is in our comparison of Fanvue alternatives.
Fanvue compared with HerFans for a creator starting over
| For a creator moving her page | Fanvue | HerFans |
|---|---|---|
| Creator keeps | 80% (85% in month one) | 80% (flat 20%) |
| Hold before withdrawal | 7 days, up to 30 if the fan’s email is unverified | 30 days, plus a 10% reserve to day 120 |
| Payout methods | Bank transfer, Masspay, Cosmo, crypto | IBAN or PayPal in your own name |
| Balance when an account is closed | “May be forfeited unless a refund is required by law” | Earned balances not tied to fraud or violations stay yours, paid on request |
| AI creators | Allowed with an AI tag | Not accepted |
| Identity check | ID and face picture | Government ID and a live camera check, read by a person |
Be clear about the trade. HerFans holds each sale for 30 days before you can withdraw it, which is much slower than Fanvue’s 7, and it does not allow AI personas. In return the written rate is a flat 20% with no seller plan, payouts go to PayPal, which Fanvue does not offer, and our terms say earned balances that are not connected to fraud or violations stay yours when an account closes. You can check every number on the pricing page.
How to bring your fans with you
Your Fanvue subscribers sit in Fanvue’s system, and its terms say creators may not “request, advertise, or receive payments” for anything delivered outside the platform, with “immediate account termination” as the penalty. So do not use Fanvue messages to push fans to another paid site. Use what you own instead: your social profiles, your link in bio and any email list you built. Post the new link once, explain plainly that you have moved, and give your regulars a reason to follow, such as a first week of new sets.
Expect to lose some subscribers in the move and plan for it. Creators who rebuild fastest usually post on a fixed schedule from day one and reply to every early message. If your trouble started at verification rather than with a ban, our guide to a Fansly application denied walks through how ID checks fail and how to pass them the second time.
