Fansly Account Banned and Where to Sell Next
Free to join, one flat fee on what you sell, and no monthly seller subscription.
If your Fansly account was banned or suspended, email [email protected] from the address on the account, ask which rule you broke, and do not open a second account while you wait. Fansly’s Terms of Service let it suspend or terminate an account “without notice, in our sole discretion”, and they describe no formal appeal for a closed creator account. Your balance is at risk too: the terms let Fansly “delete your account without payment”.
We rendered and read Fansly’s Terms of Service (last updated July 21, 2026) and its help center in October 2026 for this article, and quote them directly so you can check every line. We run HerFans, another creator platform, which is where this article ends up, so read that part knowing who wrote it.
Why was my Fansly account banned?
Fansly bans accounts for what its terms call Prohibited Uses, and the list is longer than most creators realize. It covers the obvious, such as minors, non-consensual content and fraud, but also everyday things that are allowed on other platforms. The terms ban “any adult content featuring the consumption or presence of alcohol”, so a drink in the background of one set is enough.
| Rule in Fansly’s terms | What it catches in practice | Can you fix it? |
|---|---|---|
| No alcohol, cannabis or intoxication in adult content | A wine glass on the nightstand, a party set, a smoking clip | Yes, by removing every post that shows it |
| No hypnosis, lack of consent or hardcore bondage themes | Roleplay captions and fetish clips that were fine elsewhere | Sometimes, by deleting the content and its captions |
| No photorealistic AI content | AI generated or face-swapped pictures, AI chat with no human | No, if the page was built on it |
| No nudity or sexual activity where the public may see you | Outdoor, car and hotel balcony content | Yes, by removing it |
| No selling used clothing | Worn item offers in posts or messages | Yes, by removing the offers |
| No recorded video passed off as a live stream | Looping an old clip on Fansly Live | Yes, stop doing it |
| Everyone in your content verified and tagged | A partner or friend who never sent ID and consent | Yes, by getting them verified |
| Chargebacks and payment fraud | A fan’s stolen card, or working with a fan to cash it out | Only if the fraud was not yours |
Two clauses reach beyond your content. Creators “must act in the best interests of the Company at all times, whether on Fansly, on third-party websites, or offline”, and may not “disparage” Fansly or make false or misleading statements about it. And if you knew about a violation by someone else and did not report it, Fansly says it may consider you complicit.
Suspended, terminated or just hidden?
Check that you are actually banned before you panic. Fansly’s help center lists four reasons a profile shows “This profile or page does not exist”: the creator deleted it, privacy or geo-blocking settings hide it, Fansly suspended or disabled it, or there is a temporary technical fault. If a fan says your page vanished but you can still log in, look at your geo-blocking settings first.
A real suspension or termination comes from Fansly. The terms reserve the right to “temporarily suspend or permanently terminate your account for failure to comply with these Terms or any applicable law”, and for repeated or single serious violations to delete the account and permanently ban the user. They also say the license to use Fansly “may be revoked and terminated by us at any time and for any reason”.
How do I get my Fansly account back?
There is one route, and it is support. The terms name an appeal address, [email protected], only for abuse takedowns and for people who say they appear in content without consent. For an account closure the help center points to the Help button or [email protected].
- Write from the email on the account. Fansly asks for a clear description, usernames, links and screenshots.
- Ask for the specific rule. You cannot answer a ban you do not understand. Match the reply to the table above.
- Offer the fix. Say which posts you will remove, or attach the ID and consent documents for the person who was not verified.
- Ask about your balance in the same message. Give the payout ID from your Payout Methods page if a payout was canceled, with screenshots of your wallet.
- Write once and keep a copy. If it becomes a legal dispute, the terms require a signed written Notice of Dispute and 60 days of good-faith talks before individual arbitration.
Fansly says it strives to resolve reports within five business days. That line is about content reports, not account appeals, and no time limit is promised for those.
What happens to your Fansly earnings if you are banned?
This is the part that costs creators the most. Fansly’s terms say it may “forfeit payment of any revenue earned by Users that violate these Terms” and refund it to the fans affected. For creators specifically, a breach means Fansly “may delete your account without payment and/or permanently ban you”. It may also deduct anything earned from content that broke the rules or from sales that ended in a chargeback.
Money still pending is the most exposed. Every Fansly sale sits in a 7 day pending period before it reaches your available balance, so a ban can land while a week of income is still locked. The lesson applies on every platform: withdraw whenever your available balance clears the minimum, and keep your own record of each sale. Our breakdown of Fansly payouts covers the minimums and timings.
Can you make a new Fansly account after a ban?
Not if the first one was closed for breaking the rules. When you register, you confirm that any previous Fansly account “was not suspended or terminated by Fansly for violation of these Terms”. A second account under the same ID breaks that promise from the first day, and creator verification ties your documents, a handwritten sign photo and a video to the account, so it is likely to be found and closed with whatever it earned. If support will not reinstate you, the realistic move is to another platform.

Where can you go after a Fansly ban?
That depends on why you were banned, because the next platform will check the same content against its own rules.
| If Fansly closed your account for | Will another platform take you? | What to check first |
|---|---|---|
| Alcohol or cannabis on camera | Yes, but many platforms have the same rule, HerFans included | Reshoot or cut the affected sets before you upload |
| An unverified person in your content | Yes, once every performer is verified | Collect IDs and signed releases first |
| Photorealistic AI content | Not HerFans. Look for platforms that allow labeled AI creators | The new platform’s AI rules, in writing |
| Fetish themes on Fansly’s banned list | Often, on clip stores with wider content rules | Each site’s prohibited content page |
| Chargebacks caused by fans | Yes. That was not your conduct | Keep the transaction records Fansly named |
| Inactivity | Yes | Log in to any page you keep at least once a year |

Fansly compared with HerFans for a creator starting over
| For a creator moving her page | Fansly | HerFans |
|---|---|---|
| Creator keeps | 80% | 80% (flat 20%) |
| Hold before withdrawal | 7 days | 30 days, plus a 10% reserve to day 120 |
| Payout methods | Vary by region. Paxum, ACH, SEPA, SWIFT, crypto | IBAN or PayPal in your own name |
| Balance when an account is closed | May “delete your account without payment” and “forfeit payment of any revenue” tied to a violation | Earned balances not tied to fraud or violations stay yours, paid on request |
| Written appeal process for a closed account | None in the terms, only email to support | Email to support, read by a person |
| Identity check | ID photos, a handwritten sign photo and a video | Government ID and a live camera check, read by a person |
Be clear about the trade. HerFans holds each sale for 30 days before you can withdraw it, which is much slower than Fansly’s 7, it is for women creators only, and its content rules are strict in the same places: no alcohol on camera, no AI images, and nobody in the frame without a signed consent release. In return the written rate is a flat 20% with no seller plan, payouts go to PayPal, which Fansly does not offer, and our terms say earned balances that are not connected to fraud or violations stay yours when an account closes. You can check every number on the pricing page.
How to bring your fans with you
Your Fansly subscribers sit in Fansly’s system, and you will not get a list of them. What you still own is everything outside it: your social profiles, your link in bio and any email list you built. Post the new link once, say plainly that you have moved, and give your regulars a reason to follow, such as a first week of new sets.
Expect to lose some subscribers in the move and plan for it. Creators who rebuild fastest post on a fixed schedule from day one, reply to every early message and keep promoting on the social accounts that sent them fans before. Starting over under a new page is also a good moment to tighten your privacy: a data broker removal service can take your home address off people-search sites before new fans go looking. If OnlyFans is your next stop, read what its rules do after an OnlyFans account banned notice before you rely on it alone.
