Most adult platforms pay 80% of a subscription. The real differences are clip rates, rates that are never published, rules that ban real people, and how long your money waits.

The main adult content creator platforms in 2026 are OnlyFans, Fansly, Fanvue, LoyalFans, ManyVids and Clips4Sale, and most of them pay a woman 80% of a subscription. The differences that cost money are elsewhere: clip stores pay 60% on clips, Fanvue’s 85% lasts one month, LoyalFans keeps its payout terms off its help center, and Patreon and SubscribeStar.adult do not allow explicit content of real people. HerFans charges a flat 20% on every sale type, publishes it, and has a person check every creator’s ID before she can publish or be paid.
We run HerFans, so read our ranking with that in mind. Every figure for another platform comes from its own terms, help center or pricing page, and where a number is only reported by creators we say so. We also say where we lose: HerFans is smaller than OnlyFans and Fansly, it does not send you strangers from a big directory, and each sale waits 30 days before you can withdraw it.
The headline rate is the first thing to check and the easiest to compare. It is also where the fine print starts, because a single rate does not always cover everything you sell.
| Platform | What the creator keeps | Where the rate is published | Explicit content of real people |
|---|---|---|---|
| OnlyFans | 80% of everything | Its own terms and help center | Yes |
| Fansly | 80% of everything | Its terms of service | Yes |
| Fanvue | 85% in month one, then 80% | Its creator page and help center | Yes, and AI creators with a tag |
| LoyalFans | 80% of everything | Its payout page and terms, not its help center | Yes |
| ManyVids | 80% on memberships, customs and tips, 60% on clips | Its rate card | Yes |
| Clips4Sale | 60% on clips, 80% on tips and customs | Its terms and help center | Yes, clips only |
| SubscribeStar.adult | 90% before card processing | Its pricing page | No, drawn and animated art only |
| Patreon | 90% before card processing | Its pricing page | No sexual acts by real people |
| Fanplace | 50% in the creator terms, marketed as up to 80% | Creator terms and its own marketing | Yes |
| HerFans | 80% of every sale type, flat | Our pricing page | Yes, after a person checks your ID |
Two things in that table surprise most women who are choosing a platform. The first is LoyalFans. Its help center runs to 29 articles and names no commission, no payout schedule and no minimum, yet its terms of service say its fee is 20% of the total fan payment and a separate payout page lists the $50 minimum and the twice monthly schedule. Read the terms, not the help center. The second is Fanplace, whose creator terms say fifty percent of all revenue to the creator page unless agreed otherwise in writing, while its marketing says you keep up to 80%. When the marketing and the contract disagree, the contract is the one that gets enforced.
Percentages hide the gap. Here is the same $1,000 of fan spending run through each platform’s published terms.
| Platform | What $1,000 of fan spending pays you | What decides it |
|---|---|---|
| OnlyFans | $800 | Flat 20%, all in |
| Fansly | $800 | Flat 20%, all in |
| Fanvue | $850 in month one, $800 after | The 85% only lasts a month |
| LoyalFans | $800 | A 20% fee written into its terms |
| ManyVids | $800 on memberships, $600 on clips | What you sell |
| Clips4Sale | $600 on clips, $800 on tips | What you sell |
| Patreon, on $10 memberships | About $841 | 10% plus about 2.9% and 30 cents a charge |
| SubscribeStar.adult, on $10 subscriptions | $760 to $840, or $900 if fans pay processing | Processing of 3% plus $0.30 up to 10% plus $0.40 a charge |
| Fanplace | $500 under the written terms | 50% unless agreed otherwise in writing |
| HerFans | $800 | Flat 20%, no seller plan |
For a woman who mostly sells subscriptions, the big platforms are a tie at $800 and the choice comes down to audience, rules and payouts. For a woman who mostly sells clips, the clip stores cost her $200 on every $1,000 compared with a flat 20% platform. That is the single largest difference in this whole comparison, and it is the one most roundups skip.
Not every platform that allows adult work allows the work you make. Patreon renamed its policy section Adult/18+ Works and requires nudity and explicit imagery to stay behind the paywall, with nothing explicit in the profile image, banner, tier descriptions, previews or free posts. Illustrated, animated, written and audio sexual works are allowed there, but its guidelines are widely quoted as banning real people engaging in sexual acts on camera. SubscribeStar.adult goes further: its own 2257 statement says all sexually explicit images and video on it are made with 2D and 3D art and animation software and do not involve real life models. If you film yourself, neither is the right home.
Fanvue allows AI creators as a labeled category, which matters if you are a real woman competing for attention on the same explore page. OnlyFans requires AI content to be captioned as AI generated. Fanfix, which comes up in many lists, is safe-for-work only and invite-only, so it is not an adult platform at all. HerFans does not allow AI personas, and a person reviews each creator’s ID before anything she posts goes live.
| Platform | Minimum payout | How long money waits |
|---|---|---|
| OnlyFans | $20 for most methods | About 7 days pending, then 3 to 5 business days to a US bank |
| Fansly | $20 by Paxum or US ACH, $100 by crypto or SWIFT | 7 days pending, about 48 hours approval, then 1 to 3 business days |
| Fanvue | $20, plus 5 uploaded pieces of content | About 7 days pending, up to 28 |
| LoyalFans | $50, smaller balances roll over | Paid twice a month, within 7 working days after each half month closes |
| ManyVids | $50 | Weekly on Wednesday, 7 days in arrears |
| Clips4Sale | $50 in the US | Monthly on the 7th |
| HerFans | $10 | 30 days pending per sale, then sent within 3 business days of your request (10% reserve to day 120) |
The waiting period is where HerFans is honestly slower. Each sale is pending for 30 days because refunds and most card disputes arrive in that window, and 10% of it is held to day 120. OnlyFans and Fansly release a sale after about a week. In exchange, our fee and our minimum are published to the dollar, and you request a payout to an IBAN or a PayPal account in your own name whenever you have $10 available.
Not in the App Store or Google Play, and not from any of the big platforms. Apple and Google do not allow explicit content in store apps, which is why OnlyFans states plainly that it has no app and why the Fansly apps in the Play Store are not Fansly’s. Every platform here works in a mobile browser. Fanvue suggests adding it to your home screen. HerFans installs the same way, straight from your phone’s browser, and you can shoot, upload and schedule posts from your phone.
| Platform | Native app for explicit content | How creators use it on a phone |
|---|---|---|
| OnlyFans | No, its help center says it has no app | Mobile browser |
| Fansly | No official app | Mobile browser; Play Store listings under its name are third party |
| Fanvue | No native app | Add the site to your home screen |
| Patreon | Yes, but adult works stay behind the paywall | The Patreon app |
| HerFans | No store app | Install it from the browser to your home screen and post from your phone |
If you already have a large audience and want the biggest name, OnlyFans is the default and its 20% is the benchmark. If you want discovery inside the platform, Fansly’s tag-based explore page is the strongest in this list. If you sell clips to strangers who search by niche, ManyVids and Clips4Sale have the traffic, at 60% on a clip. If you draw rather than film, SubscribeStar.adult or Patreon. If you want one published rate on everything, a person checking every creator on the site, and a manager or agency login that does not need your password, that is what we built HerFans to be.
What reaches you, how each platform pays out, and who it suits. Figures from each company’s own pages, except where marked as reported.
| Platform | Creator keeps | Payouts | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| HerFans | 80% of everything (flat 20%, published) | $10 minimum, within 3 business days, after a 30 day pending period per sale (10% reserve to day 120) | Women who want one published rate and a person checking every creator |
| OnlyFans | 80% of everything | $20 minimum, about a week pending | Creators who bring a big audience |
| Fansly | 80% of everything | $20 minimum, 7 days pending | Creators who want discovery by tags |
| Fanvue | 85% month one, then 80% | $20 minimum and 5 uploads | Creators who do not mind AI accounts beside them |
| ManyVids | 80% memberships, 60% clips | $50 minimum, weekly | Clip sellers who want a store with search traffic |
| Clips4Sale | 60% clips, 80% tips | $50 minimum, monthly | Fetish clip sellers |
| LoyalFans | 80% (20% fee in its terms) | $50 minimum, twice a month | Creators who want a store and live streams on one page |
Fees and payout terms are set by each platform and can change. Figures reflect publicly listed terms; check each site for current rates.
A flat 20% on subscriptions, paid posts, paid messages and tips, with no seller plan and no monthly cost. Nobody publishes or gets paid until a person has reviewed her ID, AI personas are not allowed, and a manager or agency can get their own login to your account instead of your password. The trade off is real: we are smaller than OnlyFans, we do not send you strangers from a giant directory, and each sale waits 30 days before you can withdraw it from $10.
OnlyFans takes a flat 20% and its merchant of record, Fenix Internet LLC, reported paying creators $5.80B of $7.22B in fan spending for its 2024 financial year, which works out to 80.3%. Payouts wait about 7 days, then take 3 to 5 business days to a US bank, from a $20 minimum on most methods. Creators have no control over refunds. If you already have an audience, it is the name fans know. Compare it in our best OnlyFans alternatives guide.
Fansly writes its 80% into its terms of service, and its help center leaves refunds to the creator. Its tag-based explore page sends new fans to new accounts, which OnlyFans largely does not. Every sale pends 7 days, so with approval and delivery money lands in about 9 to 12 days. After 12 months of inactivity it charges $5 a month from your earnings. Our Fansly review has the detail.
Fanvue advertises 85% in your first month and 80% after, and its own help center confirms that the older 85% deal for 2022 joiners has ended. You need $20 and five uploaded pieces of content before the first payout. AI creators are a verified category with a tag in their bio, so a real woman competes with them on the same pages. See sites like Fanvue.
ManyVids pays 80% on memberships, customs, tips and store items, and 60% on vids, vid bundles and pay to open messages. It pays weekly on Wednesday from $50, and US creators must file a W-9 before adding a payment method. Fans arrive searching by niche, which is the point. Compare it in sites like ManyVids.
Clips4Sale keeps 40% of a clip and 20% of a tip, and customs pay 80% once delivered and approved. It pays monthly on the 7th from $50 in the US, by ACH or check at no fee. There is no creator-run subscription and no photo set product, so it is a store, not a page. Our Clips4Sale review walks through the terms.
LoyalFans’ terms of service set its fee at 20% of the total fan payment, and its payout page lists twice monthly payouts, a $50 minimum and ACH, wire, SEPA or Paxum. None of that appears in its 29 article help center, and support is by email only. Subscriptions run $1 to $50 a month and the referral program pays 5% for life. Its terms let it deduct valid refunds and chargebacks from your earnings. Read our LoyalFans review before you move a paying audience there.
A flat 20% on subscriptions, paid posts, paid messages and tips. No seller plan, no monthly fee, no promotional rate that expires.
A person reviews every creator’s ID before she can publish or be paid, and AI personas are not allowed.
Give a manager or agency their own access to your account instead of your password, and remove it any time.
Install HerFans from your phone’s browser and shoot, upload and schedule from there.
Sign up in seconds with email, pick a creator name, and set up your profile. No upfront cost.
Upload photos and videos, set a monthly subscription price, and lock premium posts behind pay-per-view.
Fans subscribe, tip and unlock your content. You ask for a payout from your dashboard once your available balance reaches the published minimum. Each sale is pending for 30 days, the period in which refunds and most card disputes arrive, and 10% of it is held as a reserve until day 120. For a sale paid by card, the reserve is held longer, up to day 206, because our card processor keeps its own reserve on that payment for 26 weeks and it is released to you once it has been returned to us.
