Every large cam site pays about $0.05 a token, so moving between them changes your audience, not your split. Here is what each Stripchat alternative actually pays, and which ones keep paying when the camera is off.

The best Stripchat alternative depends on why you are leaving. If you want more per token, there is nowhere to go: Chaturbate pays the same $0.05 a token, and Stripchat’s own figure of 50% to 60% of viewer spend is already the top of the cam market. If you want income that does not stop when the camera does, the alternative is a subscription platform: OnlyFans and Fansly keep 20% and both stream, and HerFans keeps a flat 20% on subscriptions, paid posts, paid messages and tips alike, with no broadcasting of its own, with payouts from $10 within three business days, after a 30 day pending period per sale (10% reserve to day 120).
We run HerFans, so read this knowing that. Every rate below is the platform’s own published or stated figure, read in September 2026, and where a figure is only reported by industry press we say so.
Three reasons come up, and they need different answers. The first is the split: half of what a viewer spends never reaches you. The second is the schedule: a cam site pays for screen time and nothing else, so a week off is a week of zero. The third is account risk: Stripchat’s PissedConsumer profile sits at 2.1 across 340 reviews with 24% recommending, and model suspensions are one of the two recurring complaints. Only the last two are solved by moving. The split is the same on every large cam site.
Cam sites price in tokens, subscription platforms in percentages. To compare them, the table converts everything to what reaches you from each dollar a viewer spends.
| Platform | Model keeps, per viewer dollar | Earn while offline | Payout | Where the figure comes from |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stripchat | About 50% to 60% ($0.05 a token) | No | Weekly on Tuesdays, about $50 minimum | Stripchat states 55%+ reaches models on average; minimum reported by BCAMS |
| Chaturbate | About 50% ($0.05 a token) | No | Twice a month, $50 minimum | Chaturbate rate card |
| ManyVids (MV Live) | $0.08 a token, promotional rate | Yes: Vids 60%, Club and tips 80% | Weekly on Wednesdays, $50 minimum | ManyVids help center, updated 1 July 2026 |
| OnlyFans | 80% of everything, live tips included | Yes | $20 minimum for most methods, each sale pends about 7 days | OnlyFans help center, September 2026 |
| Fansly | 80%, written into its terms | Yes | $20 Paxum or US ACH, every sale pends 7 days | Fansly terms of service |
| HerFans | 80% of subscriptions, paid posts, paid messages and tips | Yes | $10 minimum, to an IBAN or PayPal, within 3 business days, after a 30 day pending period per sale (10% reserve to day 120) | Our own pricing page and dashboard |
Read the first column and the second together. No platform pays a cam model more per live token than Stripchat does; the subscription platforms pay 80% or more but send you no viewers. So the question is not "which Stripchat alternative pays more per token" but "what does my audience do when I am offline", because on a cam site the answer is nothing.
| $1,000 spent by your viewers in a month | Stripchat | Chaturbate | OnlyFans or Fansly | HerFans |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| All of it as tips | $500 to $600 | About $500 | $800 | $800 |
| Half tips, half subscriptions and paid posts | $500 to $600, and the other half does not exist on a cam site | About $500, same | $800 | $800 |
| Over a year at the same pace | $6,000 to $7,200 | About $6,000 | $9,600 | 12 x $800 |
The gap between the cam column and the subscription column is $2,400 to $3,600 a year at $1,000 a month, before counting the sales a cam site cannot make at all. What the cam site buys with that money is the directory: viewers who arrive without you promoting anything. A model with no audience elsewhere is paying for the only viewers she has, which can be worth it. A model with a following on X or Reddit is paying half her income for viewers she brought herself.
More per token: none. Stripchat and Chaturbate both pay $0.05 a token, and Stripchat’s share rises with larger token packages, which makes it marginally the better of the two on rate. Moving between cam sites changes your audience, not your split. Our cam site comparison covers the traffic and payout differences that do exist.
Income when offline: a subscription platform that also streams. OnlyFans and Fansly both stream live and both keep 20%. Fansly writes its 80% into its terms; OnlyFans’ 20% is confirmed by its parent’s accounts. Both pend each sale for about seven days. HerFans does not stream, keeps a flat 20% on everything, and pays out from $10 within three business days, after a 30 day pending period per sale (10% reserve to day 120), to an IBAN or PayPal. The trade on all three is the same: you bring the viewers.
A cam site with a store attached: ManyVids. MV Live pays $0.08 a token, which ManyVids labels promotional, and the store beside it sells Vids at 60% and Club subscriptions, customs and tips at 80%. It is the closest thing to a cam site that also earns while you sleep, at the cost of the lowest rate on catalogue clips. Our ManyVids review checks every one of those rates against its help center.
The hybrid most working models run. Cam where the free viewers are, then move the ones who tip to a subscription page so the relationship keeps paying after the stream ends. That is how the top cam earners stop depending on screen time, and it is the setup we would suggest to anyone reading this page rather than a clean break.
For the live directory, yes, as long as it is sending you viewers and paying on Tuesday. Stripchat is a legitimate site that pays weekly; the complaints in its PissedConsumer profile are about viewer billing and model suspensions, not about missing payouts. Our Stripchat review goes through the legitimacy, pay and safety questions in detail. What Stripchat is not is a place to build income that survives a day off, and no cam site is. Keep it for discovery and put the recurring income somewhere that pays 80% or more.
What reaches the model from each viewer dollar, how each platform pays out, and who it suits. Platform figures from each company’s own pages, September 2026.
| Platform | Creator keeps | Payouts | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| HerFans | 80% of live tips, subscriptions, PPV and messages | $10 minimum, to an IBAN or PayPal, within 3 business days, after a 30 day pending period per sale (10% reserve to day 120) | Models who want one flat rate and offline income |
| Fansly | 80%, in its terms | $20 Paxum or ACH, sales pend 7 days | Models who want streaming plus subscriptions with a published rate |
| OnlyFans | 80% | $20 for most methods, sales pend about 7 days | Models whose fans already look there first |
| ManyVids | $0.08 a token live (promotional); 60% Vids, 80% Club and tips | Weekly Wednesdays, $50 | Models with a clip catalogue to sell beside the stream |
| Chaturbate | About 50% ($0.05 a token) | Twice a month, $50 | Models who want the biggest live directory |
| Stripchat | About 50% to 60% ($0.05 a token) | Weekly Tuesdays, about $50 | Models who want weekly pay and a large directory |
Fees and payout terms are set by each platform and can change. Figures reflect publicly listed terms; check each site for current rates.
Earn from subscriptions, paid posts, paid messages and tips, all at a flat 20%. Payouts run on request from $10 to an IBAN or PayPal, within three business days, after a 30 day pending period per sale (10% reserve to day 120), once your ID has been verified. The trade is plain: there is no live broadcasting here and no directory sending you viewers, so this is the page you build for income between streams rather than the place you perform. It is also a platform for women only. Create your creator account.
Fansly keeps 20% and says so in its terms of service, streams live, and pays out from $20 by Paxum or US ACH, $100 by crypto. Every sale pends seven days to the hour and there is a $5 a month fee on accounts that go silent for a year. See the full Fansly review.
OnlyFans streams live, keeps 20% of everything and pays from $20 for most methods, with each sale pending about seven days. It sends you no viewers and names no crypto payout. It is the default second platform for a cam model because the fans she tips on cam already know the name.
MV Live pays $0.08 a token at a rate ManyVids calls promotional, and the store beside it pays 80% on Club, customs, tips and store items but 60% on Vids. Payouts are weekly on Wednesdays with a $50 minimum, and US creators must file a W-9 before adding a payment method.
Chaturbate pays a flat $0.05 a token, about half of viewer spend, twice a month from $50. Its directory is the largest in the category, which is the only reason to move from Stripchat to it: the rate is the same and the schedule problem is identical. Our page on how much you can make on Chaturbate has the hourly numbers.
Stripchat pays $0.05 a token and states that more than 55% of spend reaches models on average, weekly on Tuesdays from about $50. Its PissedConsumer rating is 2.1 across 340 reviews, mostly viewer billing and suspensions. Keep it for the directory if it is working; add a platform that pays when you are offline.
Live tips, subscriptions, pay-per-view and messages all pay 80%. A cam site pays about half of live tips and nothing at all when you are offline.
Request it from the dashboard and it goes to an IBAN or a PayPal account in your own name, once your identity has been verified.
Every creator is verified with an ID document and a live camera check before she can publish; anything the check cannot confirm is decided by a person. That is why a fan knows the person he is paying is a verified adult.

Fans subscribe, tip and unlock your content. You ask for a payout from your dashboard once your available balance reaches the published minimum. Each sale is pending for 30 days, the period in which refunds and most card disputes arrive, and 10% of it is held as a reserve until day 120. For a sale paid by card, the reserve is held longer, up to day 206, because our card processor keeps its own reserve on that payment for 26 weeks and it is released to you once it has been returned to us.
