MyFreeCams says it pays models more than 60% of all gross revenue, on the 1st and 16th of every month for the previous 15 days. A private show costs a member 60 tokens a minute, a TruePrivate 80, and a group show 10 tokens a minute per member. MFC does not publish what one token is worth to the model; creator guides consistently report $0.05, which makes a full hour in private about $180 before tips.
The rates, payout dates and rules on this page come from MyFreeCams’ own wiki for models and members, read on 19 October 2026. The pages that usually rank for this question are written by cam agencies and AI tool vendors, and most of them quote the top-earner figures without the show prices behind them. HerFans is a competing platform, so read what we say about ourselves with that in mind. Where MFC is silent, we say so instead of filling the gap.
MyFreeCams publishes no average income. Its model page says the top models make over $50,000 a month and many make over $10,000, and it is careful to add that earnings depend on your hours and how successful you are on the site. Those are the best months on the platform, not a typical one. A new model with no regulars often earns a small fraction of that in her first weeks.
The more useful way to estimate it is through private show time, because that is the one part of MFC income you can count in advance. A private bills the member 1 token a second. The table assumes the $0.05 per token that creator guides report, since MFC only gives exact payment details during registration, and it ignores tips, which on MFC can be larger than the private income for a model with loyal regulars.
| Private minutes a week | Tokens at 60 a minute | At $0.05 a token, per week | Per month (52 weeks over 12) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 minutes | 1,800 | $90 | $390 |
| 1 hour | 3,600 | $180 | $780 |
| 2 hours | 7,200 | $360 | $1,560 |
| 5 hours | 18,000 | $900 | $3,900 |
Five hours a week in private is a lot for a new room. Members have to invite you, and you can accept or decline every invitation, so private time grows with the number of regulars who already know and like you. Public time in between is paid only through tips.
A model earns per hour whatever her room spends in that hour, so the honest answer is a range, not a number. The fixed parts are the show prices MFC sets for every room, which are the same for every model. Here is what each show type is worth to you in a full hour, at the reported $0.05 a token.
| Show type | What the member pays (MFC wiki) | Per full hour, at $0.05 a token | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private | 60 tokens a minute | $180 | Other members can spy on it |
| TruePrivate | 80 tokens a minute | $240 | No spying allowed; the extra 20 tokens offset the lost spy income |
| Spy (voyeur) | 20 tokens a minute, per spying member | $60 per spy on top of the private | Spies see the show but not the private chat |
| Group show | 10 tokens a minute, per member, 3 requests to start | $30 per member in the show | Members are encouraged to tip on top |
| Club show | No per-minute charge | Paid through your MFC Share club | Only members of the clubs you pick can enter |
| Tips | Any amount; anonymous tips start at 5 tokens | Depends entirely on the room | Tips are gifts and are not refunded |
A private with two spies is therefore worth around $300 an hour to the model, which is why MFC regulars talk about spy counts. The flip side is that a full hour in private is rare. Most of a typical shift is public chat, where the hourly figure depends on tips and can be close to zero on a quiet night.
MyFreeCams says it pays out more than 60% of all gross revenue to models, which means it keeps under 40%. That is the only share it states publicly. It says exact payment details are given during registration, so the per-token value and any variation by account are in your model agreement, not on the public wiki.
For scale, Chaturbate and Stripchat both pay $0.05 a token, and Stripchat says that works out to more than 55% of viewer spending. Fan platforms pay a larger share: OnlyFans, Fansly and Fanvue pay creators 80%, and HerFans pays 80%. On $1,000 of fan spending, 60% is $600, while 80% is $800.
MyFreeCams pays models on the 1st and 16th of every month for the previous 15 days, and its model page promises no delays or hold-backs. That is a twice-monthly cycle, slower than Stripchat’s weekly Tuesday payout and about the same rhythm as Chaturbate’s two periods a month.
| Payout method | Where it works | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Direct deposit to your bank | Your bank account | MFC model page |
| Bank wire transfer | Your bank account | MFC model page |
| Check in the mail | United States and Canada only | MFC model page |
| E-wallet such as Paxum | Your e-wallet account | MFC model page |
| Minimum payout and fees | Not published | Given at registration |
MyFreeCams does not treat models as employees, so nothing is withheld for tax. A US model reports the income herself, pays self-employment tax and usually makes quarterly estimated payments. Our guide to taxes for adult creators walks through how that works, and it applies to cam income in the same way.
The biggest risk to an MFC payout is a rules violation, because MFC says that even if a banned model is reinstated, all tokens earned while breaking the rules are forfeited. Several of its rules are stricter than other cam sites, and they catch new models out.
Members can also get tokens back for an unsatisfactory private show if they end it quickly, and MFC refunds members for technical problems. Tips, group shows and spy shows are not refunded. You can block whole US states or countries from seeing your cam and profile, which is the main privacy tool MFC gives models.
New models earn more by turning first-time visitors into regulars, because almost every paid show on MFC starts with a member who already likes you. MFC sorts its model list partly by CamScore and puts new models in their own section, and members can bookmark and friend models, so a consistent schedule that regulars can plan around matters more than raw hours.
Three practical steps follow from the show prices. Accept privates early, because each one can bring spies at 20 tokens a minute each. Offer a group show when you see three or more members asking, since it pays 10 tokens a minute per member plus tips. And set up clubs on MFC Share, which give your best members a paid way in that does not depend on you being in private.
The three sites pay a similar token value and differ more in schedule and rules. This table puts what each states side by side, with HerFans as the content-sales option many models run next to a cam site.
| MyFreeCams | Chaturbate | Stripchat | HerFans | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stated share | More than 60% of gross revenue | $0.05 per token | $0.05 per token, over 55% of spend | 80% of every sale |

| Earns while offline | Through MFC Share | Fan club and media sets | Fan club and videos | Subscriptions, posts, messages and tips |
If you are deciding between cam sites, our breakdowns of Chaturbate earnings and Stripchat earnings per hour and per token use the same method as this page, and the best cam sites for models compares the wider field.
MyFreeCams is worth it if you enjoy being live, are comfortable showing your face and can keep a regular schedule, because its fixed show prices and spy income reward a room with loyal regulars. It is a weaker fit if you want privacy, work with a partner, or want money coming in while you are offline, since the rules rule out all three on camera.
Many MFC models also sell content on a page of their own and promote it from their own social accounts, never from the MFC room, which the rules forbid. That way the photo sets and clips they make once keep selling on nights they do not stream.
HerFans is a subscription platform for women creators. You set a monthly price from $4.99, sell clips and photo sets as pay-per-view posts, attach priced media to messages, take custom requests from $10 and accept tips. One flat 20% fee covers all of it, so you keep 80% of every sale, with no seller plan and no monthly cost. Faceless content is supported, and fans find creators through the HerFans Explore page and search as well as through your own links.
The trade-offs are worth knowing before you sign up. Each sale pends for 30 days before you can withdraw it, which is slower than MFC’s twice-monthly payout, and HerFans is not a live cam site. In return you get payouts to an IBAN or a PayPal account in your own name from $10, your page address stamped into every picture and video, and a rate that is the same in every document. The full numbers are on the pricing page.
Photo sets and clips keep selling on the nights you do not stream, at the price you set.

Fans subscribe, tip and unlock your content. You ask for a payout from your dashboard once your available balance reaches the published minimum. Each sale is pending for 30 days, the period in which refunds and most card disputes arrive, and 10% of it is held as a reserve until day 120. For a sale paid by card, the reserve is held longer, up to day 206, because our card processor keeps its own reserve on that payment for 26 weeks and it is released to you once it has been returned to us.
