How Paying on HerFans Works

Browse HerFans free

Profiles, prices and public posts are open without an account, and the public surface is safe for work. An account is free; you only pay when you unlock something.

There are four things to buy here and no fifth one: a subscription to one creator (paid by card, it renews every month until you cancel; paid any other way, it ends with the month you paid for), a paid post, a paid message and a tip. That is the same short list OnlyFans sells. Each purchase is paid at the moment you make it, on a secure payment page.

This page is the plain version of how money works on HerFans, written because most platforms explain it in a help article nobody finds until something has already gone wrong.

The four things you can buy

What it is How often you pay What you get
Subscription to a creatorPaid by card: every month until you cancel. Otherwise: ends with the paid month, with a renewal link by emailHer subscriber feed, everything she posts while it runs, and messaging
A paid postOnceThat post, permanently, whether or not you are subscribed
A paid messageOnceThe attachment in that message, permanently
A tipOnceNothing you are owed. It is a thank you, and it is always optional

Following a creator is free and needs no payment of any kind, and a lot of what is posted here is free to read once you have an account. Nothing asks you for money to look around.

How long a subscription runs, and how you stop it

A subscription gives you a month of her posts. Paid by card, it renews every month until you cancel, and we email you 3 days before each renewal; paid any other way, it ends with the month you paid for, and we email you before it ends with a link to renew. Cancel any time on your subscriptions page and access stays until the end of the month you paid for. If something does not work or the payment was not yours, report it on your purchases page. The renewal date is on your subscriptions list. A bundle of several months is one payment for those months and does not renew.

You can cancel it yourself from that list. You do not have to ask anyone, explain anything or wait for a reply. Cancelling keeps the month you have already paid for running to its end, so your access does not disappear on the day you press it. If you change your mind while that month is still running, you can start it again without paying twice.

The price is whatever the creator set. She can change it for new subscribers, and what you are paying does not change underneath you without your agreement.

What a subscription does not include

The most common disappointment in this category, so it is worth being blunt about. A subscription covers her subscriber feed, everything she posts while it runs, and messaging. It does not cover a paid post, which is a separate purchase even for subscribers, or a priced attachment inside a message, which is free to receive and priced to open. A tip is never included in anything, because it is not a purchase.

If anyone tells you a subscription is everything a creator has, that has never been true on any platform.

How a purchase is paid

At checkout, on a secure payment page, when you buy it. Prices are in US dollars, and every purchase is listed in your account with its date and amount.

What is checked before any of this reaches you

This part matters more to what you are buying than the payment method does.

Paying anywhere but here

Against the rules, for fans exactly as for creators. A payment app, a bank transfer, a gift card, a crypto address, or the same content cheaper on another app: every one of those removes the record of what you paid for and the only route you have if it does not arrive. If a creator asks, do not argue with her, just report it, and we take it from there.

A sensible first month

Follow a few creators for free and watch what they post for a week. Then buy one small thing from the one you actually read, and see how she communicates and whether she delivers. Then subscribe for a month if you found yourself wanting a second thing from her. That order costs the least and produces the fewest regrets.

The arithmetic of subscribing against unlocking is worked through in subscription or single purchase, and choosing who to spend it on is in how to find creators worth subscribing to.
