The best Fanfix alternative depends on why you are leaving. If you want to post nudes or explicit content, Fanfix is the wrong platform by design: its own FAQ describes brand-friendly, safe-for-work content, and its guidelines ban offering sexual services. The sites like Fanfix that allow adult content are OnlyFans, Fansly, Fanvue and HerFans, and all four pay creators 80% or more.
We run HerFans, so read this page knowing that. Every Fanfix detail below comes from its own FAQ and its content guidelines (last updated July 1, 2026), and every competitor figure comes from that company’s own pages. Where another platform is the better fit for you, the table says so.
No. Fanfix positions itself as a brand-friendly, safe-for-work platform for mainstream influencers, and its FAQ says so in those words. Its current content guidelines add that offering sexual services is not allowed and that anything aimed at an adult-only audience has to pass age checks, labeling and consent rules before it goes up. Creators who post nudity there risk losing the account, not getting a warning.
The July 2026 rewrite of the guidelines dropped the old itemised list of banned body parts that most reviews still quote, which is why you will see forum posts asking whether the rule changed. The platform’s positioning did not. Fanfix sells itself to brands as a safe place for sponsored creators, and nudity breaks that promise. If your plan includes nude sets, explicit clips or spicy paid messages, pick a platform that is built to carry them.
Three reasons come up again and again, and only one of them is about content.
The content rule. Covered above. It is the most common reason by far, and the queries that bring people to this page are mostly some version of "does Fanfix allow nudes".
The invite bar. Fanfix is invite-only. Its FAQ says every application is reviewed by its Partnerships team and that applications without valid, active social media handles will not be reviewed at all. If you are starting without an audience, you cannot get in. Our guide for creators whose Fanfix application was rejected covers reapplying and the referral route.
The unpublished rate. Fanfix does not publish its commission on its website or in its FAQ. The figure most often reported is 20%, the same as OnlyFans, and a July 2026 industry write-up repeats it, while a few 2026 sources say 10%. At $3,000 a month those two numbers are $3,600 a year apart, which is a lot to take on trust. Our Fanfix review goes through what Fanfix does document.
| What matters when you switch | Fanfix | HerFans |
|---|---|---|
| Nude and explicit content | No: brand-friendly, safe-for-work only | Yes, for verified 18+ creators |
| Who can join | Invite-only; verified social handles required | Open signup; a person reads your ID before you publish |
| Published platform fee | None on its own site (20% reported) | Flat 20%, on every sale type |
| Payouts | Weekly through Stripe, usually by Friday | On request from $10 to an IBAN or PayPal in your name, within 3 business days |
| Pending period | Not published | Each sale pends 30 days, then 10% held to day 120 |
| Paid messages | Yes | Yes |
| Each paid file marked with the buyer account | No (screenshots blocked instead) | Yes |
Fanfix does two things well that are worth naming. It pays weekly, with earnings processed on Wednesday and usually in the bank by Friday, and it blocks screenshots in the app. If your content is genuinely safe for work and you already have a following, those are real reasons to stay.
Say fans spend $1,000 a month with you across subscriptions, unlocks and tips. This is what each platform leaves you before any bank fees, using the rate each one publishes (Fanfix uses the reported figure, because it publishes none).
| $1,000 of fan spending | Fanfix | OnlyFans | Fansly | Fanvue | HerFans |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Creator share | Not published (80% reported) | 80% | 80% | 85% month one, then 80% | 80% |
| You keep | About $800, unconfirmed | $800 | $800 | $850, then $800 | $800 |
| Nudity allowed | No | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Can you join with no following | No | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
The money row is close to flat across the adult platforms, so the choice comes down to who else is on the platform, how fast you get paid and how your content is protected. That is where the roundup below does its work.
OnlyFans is the obvious move and the right one if you are bringing a large audience with you. It takes a flat 20%, fans already trust the brand with their card, and most payout methods start at $20. The trade is discovery: OnlyFans has almost none inside the platform, so every subscriber comes from your own socials, much like on Fanfix.
Fansly pays a flat 80% that is written into its terms, and it has a For You feed and tag search that can surface a page nobody has heard of. Every sale pends seven days before you can withdraw, minimums start at $20, and an account that sits idle for 12 months is charged $5 a month from its earnings. Our sites like Fansly page covers the rest.
Fanvue says on its own creator page that you keep 85% in your first month and 80% after. It has a $20 payout minimum, no PayPal, and a 1% fee only on crypto payouts. It is the most open of the four to AI-generated creators, which matters if you are a real person who does not want to compete with virtual models. See our Fanvue alternative comparison.
HerFans is built for women selling their own content. It takes a flat 20% on subscriptions, pay-per-view posts, tips and paid messages, and you do not need a following to sign up. Every creator is checked with a government ID and a live camera session before she can sell, every file is reviewed before it goes public, and each paid photo and video is marked with the account that bought it, so a leak can be traced to the buyer. Payouts go on request from $10 after a 30 day pending period per sale.
Not everyone searching for a Fanfix competitor wants to post nudes. If your content is lifestyle, fitness, cosplay or behind the scenes and you simply could not get past the invite bar, Patreon is the established option: a 10% platform fee for creators who joined after August 2025 plus about 2.9% and 30 cents in processing per pledge, open signup, and a real mobile app. Our Patreon alternative page explains where its rules on adult tiers draw the line. Passes is the other safe-for-work home for influencers, and it bans nudity and lingerie sales too; our Passes alternative page covers its fee terms. OnlyFans and Fansly also accept safe-for-work pages, and plenty of fitness and cosplay creators run them that way.
If you are still choosing between the big names, our ranked list of the best OnlyFans alternatives puts every platform on one table, and the creator payout percentage page shows what each one keeps.
What a creator keeps, how payouts work, and who each platform suits. Figures from each company’s own pages in September 2026.
| Platform | Creator keeps | Payouts | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| HerFans | 80% on subscriptions, pay-per-view, tips and paid messages | $10 minimum, on request after a 30 day pending period per sale | Women selling their own content |
| Fanfix (baseline) | Not published (80% reported) | Weekly through Stripe | Safe-for-work influencers with a following |
| OnlyFans | 80% | Most methods $20 minimum | Creators bringing a big audience |
| Fansly | 80% | $20 minimum, every sale pends 7 days | Being found through tags and a For You feed |
| Fanvue | 85% in month one, then 80% | $20 minimum, no PayPal | Creators who want AI tools |
| Patreon | 90% before processing | Automatic or on request | Safe-for-work creators who want open signup |
Fees and payout terms are set by each platform and can change. Figures reflect publicly listed terms; check each site for current rates.
A flat 20% on everything, open signup with a government ID and live camera check, every file reviewed before it is public, and each paid file marked with the account that bought it. Payouts from $10 to an IBAN or PayPal in your name after a 30 day pending period. Honest drawback: a newer and smaller fan base than OnlyFans.
Flat 20%, the largest fan base and a brand fans already pay. Almost no discovery inside the platform, so you promote it yourself, the same as on Fanfix.
80% flat in its terms, tag search and a For You feed. Every sale pends seven days, and an account idle for 12 months pays $5 a month from its earnings.
85% in the first month and 80% after, a $20 minimum and a 1% fee only on crypto payouts. The platform most open to AI-generated creators.
10% platform fee for creators who joined after August 2025, plus processing, and open signup with no follower bar. Adult/18+ pages must keep nudity behind the paywall.
Weekly payouts through Stripe and screenshot blocking. No nudity, invite-only with verified social handles required, and no published commission rate.
Nude sets, explicit clips and spicy paid messages are allowed for verified 18+ creators, with consent on file for anyone else in your content.
Subscriptions, pay-per-view posts, tips and paid messages all pay the same share, with no monthly plan.
Sign up with no audience at all. A person reads your ID and a live camera check confirms it is you before you publish.
Each paid photo and video carries your link and a mark tied to the account that bought it.
Sign up in seconds with email, pick a creator name, and set up your profile. No upfront cost.
Upload photos and videos, set a monthly subscription price, and lock premium posts behind pay-per-view.
Fans subscribe, tip and unlock your content. You ask for a payout from your dashboard once your available balance reaches the published minimum. Each sale is pending for 30 days, the period in which refunds and most card disputes arrive, and 10% of it is held as a reserve until day 120. For a sale paid by card, the reserve is held longer, up to day 206, because our card processor keeps its own reserve on that payment for 26 weeks and it is released to you once it has been returned to us.
