Premium.Chat Review of Fees, Payouts and Legitimacy
Free to join, one flat fee on what you sell, and no monthly seller subscription.
Premium.Chat is legit: it is a paid-chat platform run by a company that has operated online since 1997, it bills buyers’ cards for you, and it pays out every month. What most reviews leave out is the split. Premium.Chat keeps 40% of what buyers pay until you earn $20,000 in a month, so the typical seller keeps 60%, less than NiteFlirt at most call prices, SextPanther’s call rate or any of the 80% subscription platforms. It suits a seller who wants a paid-chat button on her own site more than one who wants the best rate.
Every figure below comes from Premium.Chat’s own seller FAQ, read in September 2026. We run a competing platform, HerFans, so we have a reason to look hard at the numbers; we have tried to be fair about where Premium.Chat is the better tool.
Is Premium.Chat legit?
Yes. Premium.Chat is operated by a US company that says it has been online since 1997, it runs card billing for Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover so sellers need no merchant account, and it pays out on a fixed monthly date. It asks adult sellers to sign a compliance agreement with 2257 records during onboarding. It is not a scam; the questions worth asking are how much it keeps and how long it holds your money.
How much does Premium.Chat pay creators?
Premium.Chat pays a percentage of what it bills buyers, and the percentage rises with your monthly earnings. There is no setup fee and no monthly fee. Its own scale:
| Your net buyer fees in a month | You keep | Premium.Chat keeps |
|---|---|---|
| $1 to $19,999 | 60% | 40% |
| $20,000 to $34,999 | 65% | 35% |
| $35,000 to $49,999 | 70% | 30% |
| $50,000 to $74,999 | 75% | 25% |
| $75,000 and above | 80% | 20% |
Read the first row twice, because it is the one almost every seller lives in. A seller billing $3,000 a month keeps $1,800 and hands $1,200 to the platform. The 80% at the bottom of the table needs $75,000 of chat in a single month, which is a small business, not a side income. The same FAQ answer says Premium.Chat charges “between 20% and 40%”, which is accurate and sounds better than “40% for nearly everyone”.
What you can charge on Premium.Chat
You set your own prices within limits, per minute or as a flat fee for a session, and you can price text, voice and video separately. Premium.Chat asks you to contact it if you want to go above the maximums.
| Chat type | Per minute | Flat rate per session |
|---|---|---|
| Text chat | $1.00 to $9.99 | $5.00 to $100.00 |
| Audio call | $1.00 to $12.99 | $5.00 to $125.00 |
| Video chat | $2.00 to $12.99 | $10.00 to $150.00 |
Flat-rate sessions come with an optional extension prompt: when a session nears its maximum length, the buyer is asked whether to keep going, and billing starts again if they agree. Prices can be shown in US dollars, euros, pounds and four other currencies.
When and how Premium.Chat pays out
| Payout detail | What Premium.Chat states |
|---|---|
| Schedule | The 10th of each month, for everything earned the month before |
| Example | Chats from June 1 to June 30 are paid on July 10 |
| Methods | Direct deposit (US banks only), PayPal or Payoneer |
| Minimum | $10 by US bank or PayPal, $50 by Payoneer; below it the balance rolls to the next month |
| Arrival | 1 to 3 business days after the payout is sent, longer on some methods |
The monthly cycle is the slowest part of the deal. A chat on June 1 is paid on July 10, which is 39 days later, plus up to three business days in transit. For a seller whose chat income is rent money, that lag matters as much as the rate. OnlyFans and Fansly hold each sale about seven days, and HerFans pays on request from $10 within three business days, after a 30 day pending period per sale (10% reserve to day 120), to an IBAN or a PayPal account in your own name.
What $1,000 a month pays on Premium.Chat and the alternatives
Here is the same $1,000 of paid chat in a month on the platforms a Premium.Chat seller usually weighs, using each one’s own published figure.
| Platform | Rule | You keep from $1,000 | Over a year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium.Chat | 60% below $20,000 a month | $600 | $7,200 |
| NiteFlirt, calls at $2.99 a minute | $0.20 a minute, then 30% | About $656 | About $7,866 |
| Popcall | 80% of paid DMs and calls | $800 | $9,600 |
| HerFans, paid messages | Flat 20% | $800 | $9,600 |
At the tier most sellers are in, Premium.Chat is the most expensive of the four. The difference against an 80% platform is $2,400 a year on $1,000 a month, and it grows in a straight line with your income until you reach the $20,000 tier. We lay out the per-minute math for every platform in this category, voice included, in our NiteFlirt alternatives comparison.
The tax detail in Premium.Chat’s FAQ
Premium.Chat says it files a 1099-NEC for US sellers who earn $600 or more in a year and makes the PDF available in your account before January 31. That $600 figure is the old threshold. For payments made in 2026 the 1099-NEC threshold rose to $2,000, so a seller who earns $1,500 this year may not get a form at all. The income is taxable either way, so keep your own monthly totals. If you file yourself, an AI tax filing tool that reads your 1099s handles the forms you do receive, and chat income that arrived without a form still goes on Schedule C as self-employment income. Self-employment tax applies from $400 of net earnings.
What sellers say in Premium.Chat reviews
There is very little independent feedback. Premium.Chat’s Trustpilot profile is unclaimed and holds six reviews, with a TrustScore of 3.7 and a displayed 3.5 stars. Four are five-star and two are one-star; nobody left anything in between. One of the one-star reviews complains that the platform only works for women who do explicit content, which says more about who buys on Premium.Chat’s discover feed than about the software. Six reviews is too few to judge a payment company on, so read them as anecdotes, not a verdict.
Who Premium.Chat suits, and who should look elsewhere
It suits a coach, reader or creator who already sends traffic to her own site or bio and wants a paid-chat button that bills cards, handles voice and video, and never shows her phone number. Its widget is the real product, and nothing else on this list does voice and video at flat-rate session prices so simply.
It suits less well a seller whose chat is mostly text, whose audience is adult, or who needs money inside a month. On text, 60% is the lowest rate here; on timing, a 39-day wait is the longest. If that is you, a platform with a flat rate and faster payouts will leave more in your account. Our guide to making money sexting covers how text sellers price per message and per minute.
The flat-rate option for paid messages
HerFans charges paid messages per message at a price you set and keeps a flat 20%, the same 20% it takes on subscriptions, pay-per-view and tips in the same account. There are no voice or video calls, so a seller who lives on calls should keep them where they are. Payouts go out on request from $10, within three business days, after a 30 day pending period per sale (10% reserve to day 120), once your ID has been verified. For the wider picture, our table of creator payout percentages by platform sets every published rate side by side, and the Popcall review covers the other 80% option for calls.
Is Premium.Chat worth it?
Premium.Chat is worth it if you need voice or video billing on your own site and value the widget more than the rate. It is not worth it as the home for text chat, where 60% and a monthly payout sit behind every alternative we checked. Most sellers who stay on it do so for the button, and move the regulars who only text to a platform that keeps less.
