The percentage is the part everybody negotiates. The clauses underneath it are the part that decides what you actually keep.

A management agency takes its cut on top of the platform's. OnlyFans keeps 20 percent of everything a fan spends, and full service management commonly runs from about 30 percent to 50 percent of earnings, with new creators typically starting near the lower end and some deals reported considerably higher. The BBC reported 50 percent as the most common rate in 2026 and described arrangements as high as 70 percent where the agency took over marketing, messaging and account growth entirely. At a 50 percent agency rate on top of a 20 percent platform fee, a creator keeps 40 percent of what a fan pays.
| Arrangement | Platform keeps | Agency keeps | You keep |
|---|---|---|---|
| No agency | 200 | 0 | 800 |
| Agency at 30% of earnings | 200 | 240 | 560 |
| Agency at 50% of earnings | 200 | 400 | 400 |
| Agency at 70% of earnings | 200 | 560 | 240 |
Two things follow. The first is that an agency has to roughly double your income before you are level, and more than double it before it is worth the loss of control. The second is that a platform fee of 20 percent stops being the interesting number the moment an agency is involved, which is why comparing platform rates while ignoring the agency rate is the wrong conversation.
The legitimate ones do real work: paid traffic, scheduling, editing, messaging at volume, and a level of consistency most people cannot sustain alone. Judge an offer against three questions. What exactly will they do that you are not doing. What does the contract oblige them to do, as opposed to what the pitch says. And what does leaving cost you. If the answer to the second question is nothing specific, the percentage is a tax rather than a fee.
We are not the right people to tell you to leave an agency, and this page is not doing that. If you have a contract, read it before you change anything, and take proper advice if the terms are unclear. What we can tell you is what the platform side of the arithmetic looks like without one.
HerFans charges a flat 20% on everything you sell, with nothing stacked on top and no monthly cost, so 80% of a sale reaches your balance. The tools that agencies most often charge for are part of the account: scheduled posting, a message to all your fans at once, free trial links with limits, subscription bundles and promotional prices, and a view of which fans spend and which have gone quiet. Every account also has an assistant that drafts replies for you to approve, and larger assistant packs are an optional paid extra rather than a lower fee.
You keep control of the account: the log in, the email address and the payout details are yours, and nobody here asks for them. There is no exclusivity.
At a 50 percent agency rate over a 20 percent platform fee, 400 dollars of a 1,000 dollar spend reaches you.
Before control, exclusivity and exit terms are counted at all.
Renewal notice, post exit commission, account control, exclusivity and buyout terms decide what a deal really costs.
Scheduling, bulk messaging, trials, bundles and a fan spend view are built into the account here at no extra percentage.

Fans subscribe, tip and unlock your content. You ask for a payout from your dashboard once your available balance reaches the published minimum. Each sale is pending for 30 days, the period in which refunds and most card disputes arrive, and 10% of it is held as a reserve until day 120. For a sale paid by card, the reserve is held longer, up to day 206, because our card processor keeps its own reserve on that payment for 26 weeks and it is released to you once it has been returned to us.
