Women gamers who stream usually earn from four places: platform subscriptions, tips such as Twitch Bits, sponsorships, and a page of their own where fans pay for things the stream cannot offer. On Twitch the standard split on subscriptions is 50/50, the Plus Program raises it to 60/40 or 70/30 once you hold enough paid subscriptions, and every Bit pays the streamer one cent. Kick pays 95% of a subscription and YouTube pays 70% of a channel membership. The ceiling on all of them is the same: a sub price that fans see as small. A fan page adds behind the scenes posts, cosplay sets, paid messages and custom requests, priced per item.

If you already have a community that turns up for your streams, you have done the hard part. What follows is the arithmetic of each platform, and how to add income without turning your stream into a sales pitch.

What the streaming platforms pay

Platform Subscriptions Tips What it means for a $5.99 sub
Twitch, standard50/50 splitBits, $0.01 per Bit to the streamerAbout $3.00 to you
Twitch, Plus Program60/40 at 100 Plus Points, 70/30 at 300, held for three monthsBits, unchangedAbout $3.59 or $4.19
Kick95/5 splitKicks, the platform currencyA $4.99 Kick sub leaves about $4.74
YouTube memberships70% to the creatorSuper Chat and Super ThanksDepends on the tier you set

Plus Points come only from paid recurring subscriptions: a Tier 1 sub counts one point, Tier 2 two and Tier 3 six. Gifted and Prime subs still pay you, but they do not count toward the higher split (Twitch help center, Plus Program, checked October 2026). The full Twitch math, including the Affiliate requirements Twitch lowered in May 2026, is in our guide to making money on Twitch, and the Kick numbers are in how to make money on Kick.

Look at the right hand column. At about $3 a sub, $1,000 a month takes over 330 Tier 1 subscribers on standard Twitch terms. Most streamers never reach that, and the ones who do usually earn more away from the stream than on it.

What a gaming audience will pay for off stream

Your viewers already know your voice, your setup and your jokes. What they cannot get on stream is time with you that feels personal, and the parts of your life the camera does not show. That is what sells.

The pattern behind this is not specific to gaming. In OnlyFans’ financial year to November 2025, pay-per-view, tips and paid messages grew 20% to about $1.13 billion, roughly 73% of its revenue, while subscription revenue fell about 10% (onlyfansstatistics.com, citing company filings, September 2026). Fans increasingly pay per item rather than per month, so a page that only sells a subscription leaves most of the demand unmet.

Pricing that fits a gaming audience

Gaming communities are used to small, frequent payments, so start low and add options rather than starting high. These are starting points, not promises, and agency estimates for photo sets on fan platforms sit around $10 to $20.

Product Starting price to test Why
Monthly subscription$4.99 to $9.99Close to a Twitch sub, so it does not feel like a big step
Cosplay set, pay-per-view$10 to $20One character, one set, a clear reason to buy
Personal greeting$20Birthdays and shout outs, sent as a paid message
Voice message$10Fans already know your voice from the stream

On HerFans the floor is $4.99 for a subscription and $5 for any one-off purchase such as a pay-per-view post or a paid message. Our guide on how much to charge goes deeper, and the pay-per-view guide shows how to price a set.

Keeping the stream and the page apart

Twitch, Kick and YouTube each have their own rules on what you can show and what you can link, so keep the stream within them and keep the page link neutral. A link in bio page or a panel that lists all your links is the usual approach; see link in bio for creators. HerFans does not host live streams, so your stream stays where your community already is, and your page is where they go when they want more.

Privacy matters more for streamers than for most creators, because viewers see you live. On HerFans you can block any fan, block whole countries from seeing your page, and every paid photo and video is marked for the account that bought it, so a leak can be traced to the buyer.

HerFans is for women creators 18 and over. Every creator passes identity verification and a profile review before her page goes public. Create your free page, or read more for creators.
