FeetFinder reviews on Reddit and FeetFinder reviews on Trustpilot tell the same story from two directions: it is a real, ID-verified marketplace that does pay sellers, but the experience has got noticeably worse in 2026, and the complaint that dominates right now is slow payouts. We pulled FeetFinder’s full Trustpilot record on 31 August 2026. Across all 3,712 ratings the raw average is 4.49 out of 5, yet Trustpilot displays a TrustScore of 3.0. That gap is the single most useful fact on this page, and this is why it exists.
Trustpilot weights recent reviews far more heavily than old ones. FeetFinder has 3,712 lifetime ratings but only 297 of them, 8.0%, were left in the last twelve months. The 5 star wall is largely historical. The score you see today is being set by a much smaller and much angrier recent group.
We compete with FeetFinder, so treat our opinion with suspicion and check our numbers instead. Every figure below comes from FeetFinder’s own public Trustpilot profile and can be verified in a couple of minutes. We could not quantify Reddit itself, so where we describe Reddit sentiment we say plainly that it is a summary of recurring themes, not a measurement.
Reddit threads about FeetFinder converge on a consistent set of points. Sellers agree the platform is legitimate and that money does arrive. They also report that sales are slow unless you promote yourself off-platform, that the monthly seller subscription is charged in months you earn nothing, and that ID verification is strict. The recurring warning is not that FeetFinder steals money, it is that new sellers expect browsing buyers to find them and most do not sell enough to cover the subscription.
Reddit is anecdotal by nature and threads skew toward people with a problem to post about. That is exactly why we went and measured the one public review set that can be counted.
This is every rating FeetFinder has ever received on Trustpilot, as of 31 August 2026.
| Rating | Reviews | Share of all ratings |
|---|---|---|
| 5 star | 2,991 | 80.6% |
| 4 star | 282 | 7.6% |
| 3 star | 48 | 1.3% |
| 2 star | 64 | 1.7% |
| 1 star | 327 | 8.8% |
Two things stand out. First, the distribution is barbell shaped: 88.2% of ratings sit at 4 or 5 stars and 10.5% sit at 1 or 2 stars, while only 1.3% land in the middle at 3 stars. Almost nobody has a moderate experience with FeetFinder. People either get on with it or they end up furious.
Second, the arithmetic mean of those 3,712 ratings is 4.49 out of 5. Trustpilot shows 3.0. Nothing is being faked. Trustpilot’s TrustScore is recency weighted by design, so a company with a great 2021 and a rough 2026 will show a score far below its lifetime average.
To see what the recent experience actually looks like, we pulled the 100 most recent English reviews, covering 17 June to 31 August 2026.
| Rating | Reviews in sample | Share of sample |
|---|---|---|
| 5 star | 48 | 48% |
| 4 star | 5 | 5% |
| 3 star | 8 | 8% |
| 2 star | 8 | 8% |
| 1 star | 31 | 31% |
The recent sample averages 3.31 out of 5 against a lifetime average of 4.49. Thirty nine percent of the last 100 reviews are 1 or 2 star. For comparison, 1 and 2 star reviews make up 10.5% of FeetFinder’s lifetime record, so the recent rate is roughly four times higher.
There is a detail here that makes those numbers harder to dismiss. Ninety nine of those 100 reviews reached Trustpilot through FeetFinder’s own review invitations rather than being posted spontaneously. Invited review samples normally skew positive, because a company is prompting its ordinary users rather than waiting for someone motivated enough to complain unprompted. Getting 39% at 1 and 2 stars from an invited sample is a genuinely poor result. Trustpilot does not flag FeetFinder as collecting incentivized reviews, so these are solicited but not paid for.
We tagged each of those 100 reviews for the themes it mentions. The split is the most decision useful thing we found, and we have not seen it reported anywhere else.
| Theme mentioned | In 1 and 2 star reviews (n=39) | In 4 and 5 star reviews (n=53) |
|---|---|---|
| Payout or payment delay | 53.8% | 9.4% |
| Support responsiveness | 56.4% | 49.1% |
| ID or verification problems | 33.3% | 13.2% |
| Account deleted or suspended | 28.2% | 3.8% |
| Describes it as a scam | 23.1% | 1.9% |
Read that table twice before you sign up. Among people who left 4 or 5 stars, 49.1% are praising the support team and only 9.4% mention payouts at all. Among people who left 1 or 2 stars, 53.8% are describing money that has not arrived. The five star wall is very largely a support wall. Sellers who are happy tend to be happy because a human answered their ticket quickly, which is a real strength, and it is not the same thing as being happy about getting paid.
FeetFinder does engage with criticism, and it deserves credit for that: it has replied to 91.4% of its negative reviews, averaging 4.62 days to respond. A company ignoring its complaints looks very different from this.
The honest reading is that FeetFinder is going through a payout and processing problem in the middle of 2026, not that it has stopped being a real business. Titles in the recent set repeatedly describe payouts pending well past the stated processing window. If you are choosing a platform this month, price that in and do not plan around money arriving on a fixed date.
Yes. FeetFinder is a legitimate company, not a scam. It has operated since 2019, verifies both buyers and sellers with government ID, keeps payments inside the platform instead of sending you to a stranger’s payment app, and has paid out to a large number of sellers. The 23.1% of recent negative reviewers who use the word scam are, in almost every case, describing a delayed payout or a closed account rather than a theft.
Legitimate and profitable are different questions though. The complaint underneath most disappointed reviews is that a seller paid for a subscription, listed some photos, waited, and never earned it back.
Most reviews quote the commission and skip the subscription. There are two charges and they stack, which changes the math completely at low earnings.
| Cost | Basic plan | Premium plan | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Service fee per sale | 10% | 0% | Per its terms effective 30 January 2026. Its FAQ says sellers earn 90% on all sales. |
| Seller subscription | $4.99 / month | $14.99 / month | Charged whether you sell anything or not. |
| Total cost on a $50 month | $9.99 (20.0%) | $14.99 (30.0%) | The cheaper plan wins by a wide margin down here. |
| Total cost on a $100 month | $14.99 (15.0%) | $14.99 (15.0%) | The exact crossover. Below this, Basic wins. |
| Total cost on a $500 month | $54.99 (11.0%) | $14.99 (3.0%) | Premium only pays for itself above $100 a month. |
| Same month on HerFans | 20% flat | 20% flat | No seller subscription, so a quiet month costs $0. |
The number worth memorizing is $100 a month. That is the exact crossover point: below $100 in monthly sales the Basic plan costs you less overall, above it Premium does. We show the full month-by-month table in our breakdown of the FeetFinder Premium and Basic plans. A seller earning $50 a month on the Premium plan is handing over 30% of their earnings, all of it the plan fee, which is worse than any commission on this market. If you are new and unsure, start on Basic.
Fees change. These figures reflect FeetFinder’s published seller pricing as of August 2026. Confirm them yourself before you pay, and be wary of any review that quotes a competitor’s pricing without a date attached.
It is worth paying for in one specific situation: you have no audience yet and you are buying access to buyers who are already browsing. That is a fair trade, and it is the thing FeetFinder genuinely does better than a platform where you have to bring everyone yourself. Go in on the Basic plan, watermark everything, and treat the subscription as an advertising budget you might not earn back.
It stops being worth paying for the moment you can bring buyers yourself from Reddit, X or anywhere else. At that point the subscription plus commission is rent on traffic you are now generating, and given the current payout complaints there is little reason to route your own audience through it.
a flat 20% when you sell, and $0 when you do not. There is no seller subscription to earn back before you are ahead.
