FeetFinder Premium vs Basic and Which Plan Costs Less
Free to join, one flat fee on what you sell, and no monthly seller subscription.
Choose the Basic plan unless you are already selling more than $100 a month on FeetFinder. That is the exact crossover point between the two plans, and it matters for most sellers: at $50 a month in sales the Premium plan takes 30% of your earnings once the subscription is counted, while Basic takes 20%. Premium’s 0% fee only starts paying for its higher subscription above $100 in monthly sales.
We run a competing platform, so check the arithmetic below rather than taking our word for it. Every number here comes from FeetFinder’s Terms of Service, effective 30 January 2026, which set the fee at 10% on Basic and 0% on Premium (its FAQ says sellers earn 90% on all sales), and simple multiplication you can redo in a minute.
What the two FeetFinder plans actually charge
FeetFinder sells access to its marketplace with two charges that stack: a monthly subscription to stay listed, and a commission taken out of every sale. Most reviews quote only the commission, which is how the Premium plan gets described as the cheap one when for most sellers it is the expensive one.
| What you pay | Basic plan | Premium plan |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly subscription | $4.99 | $14.99 |
| Commission on each sale | 10% | 0% |
| Cost in a month you sell nothing | $4.99 | $14.99 |
| Cheaper below $100 a month in sales | Yes | No |
| Cheaper above $100 a month in sales | No | Yes |
The trap is the subscription. It is charged in months you sell nothing, so it is a fixed cost, while the commission is a variable cost. Premium lowers the variable cost by 10 percentage points and raises the fixed cost by $10 a month. Whether that trade is good depends entirely on how much you sell, and there is one number where it flips.
The exact break-even point is $100 a month
Set the two plans equal and solve. Basic costs $4.99 plus 10% of sales. Premium costs $14.99 and no commission. The $10 subscription difference is recovered by the 10% commission difference at exactly $100 in monthly sales, because 10% of $100 is $10.
| Your monthly sales | Basic total cost | Premium total cost | Cheaper plan | You keep more with |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $0 | $4.99 | $14.99 | Basic | Basic, by $10.00 |
| $25 | $7.49 (30.0%) | $14.99 (60.0%) | Basic | Basic, by $7.50 |
| $50 | $9.99 (20.0%) | $14.99 (30.0%) | Basic | Basic, by $5.00 |
| $100 | $14.99 (15.0%) | $14.99 (15.0%) | Identical | Neither, exact tie |
| $200 | $24.99 (12.5%) | $14.99 (7.5%) | Premium | Premium, by $10.00 |
| $300 | $34.99 (11.7%) | $14.99 (5.0%) | Premium | Premium, by $20.00 |
| $500 | $54.99 (11.0%) | $14.99 (3.0%) | Premium | Premium, by $40.00 |
| $1,000 | $104.99 (10.5%) | $14.99 (1.5%) | Premium | Premium, by $90.00 |
Read the $25 and $50 rows carefully, because that is where most new sellers actually live. A seller making $50 in a month on Premium pays $14.99 and keeps $35.01. The same seller on Basic pays $9.99 and keeps $40.01. Premium costs that person an eighth of their take-home for nothing, and the headline rate they signed up for was 0%.
One caveat worth stating plainly: FeetFinder also sells longer subscription terms at a lower effective monthly rate. If you prepay for several months the fixed cost per month drops, which shifts the crossover somewhat below $100. The direction of the advice does not change, and prepaying a year of a marketplace subscription before you know whether you can sell on it is its own risk.
Which FeetFinder plan is better for a new seller?
Basic, without much argument. A new seller has no listing history, no reviews and no repeat buyers, which is precisely the situation where monthly sales sit well under $100. Starting on Premium means paying the higher fixed cost during the exact months you are least likely to cover it.
The upgrade is easy to time. Watch your sales for two or three consecutive months. Once you clear $100 a month reliably, not once in a good week, move to Premium and the lower commission starts working for you. Until then the extra $10 a month is buying you nothing except a lower rate on sales you are not making.
Does the Premium plan get you more sales?
This is the real argument for Premium and it deserves a fair hearing. FeetFinder attaches promotional visibility to the higher tier, and more visibility on a marketplace can mean more buyers finding you. If Premium genuinely lifted your sales by even 20%, the math would look different.
The honest answer is that neither we nor anyone else can verify how much extra traffic the paid tier delivers, because FeetFinder does not publish it and sellers report wildly different results. So treat it as a bet, and size the bet properly. The most expensive version of this mistake is paying $14.99 a month for a year, making a handful of sales, and calling the platform a scam when the actual problem was the plan choice.
The cost nobody puts in the comparison
Both plans assume you get paid on schedule, and in 2026 that assumption is doing some work. When we pulled FeetFinder’s full public Trustpilot record in August 2026, payouts were the single most common complaint in recent reviews: 53.8% of the 1 and 2 star reviews we sampled from June to August described money that had not arrived. We wrote up the full dataset, including the rating distribution and the reason FeetFinder shows a 3.0 score when its lifetime average is 4.49, in our analysis of FeetFinder reviews on Reddit and Trustpilot.
That does not change which plan is cheaper. It does change how much you should prepay. A delayed payout is annoying when you are out $4.99 a month and genuinely painful when you have bought twelve months up front.
One practical note: whichever plan you pick, the subscription is a deductible business expense in the US, as is any promotion you buy on the platform. Keep the receipts from the first month rather than reconstructing them next April, and if you would rather not keep a shoebox, software that reads receipts and categorizes them automatically costs less than the difference between these two plans.
How the plan choice compares to platforms with no subscription
The reason the $100 line matters so much is that a subscription is a fixed cost, and fixed costs are brutal at low volume. A platform charging a flat commission with no monthly fee has no crossover point at all, because it takes nothing in a month you sell nothing.
On HerFans the fee is a flat 20%, with no seller subscription at all, so a month in which nothing sells costs you nothing, while the FeetFinder plans bill $4.99 or $14.99 whether a buyer turns up or not. What FeetFinder gives you in exchange for its subscription is real though, and we would rather say it than pretend otherwise: it is an established marketplace with buyers already browsing it. We are not, so you have to bring your own buyers. That is the actual trade, and it is why plenty of sellers reasonably start on FeetFinder and move once they have an audience. Our full FeetFinder review covers verification, safety and payouts in more detail, and our roundup of the best sites to sell feet pics compares the fee structures side by side.
Is FeetFinder Premium worth it?
It is worth it above $100 a month in sales and it is a bad deal below that. At $500 a month Premium saves you $40.00 against Basic, and at $1,000 a month it saves $90.00, which is a real difference for an established seller. At $50 a month it costs you $5.00 more than Basic while advertising a lower rate, which is why so many sellers feel misled by it.
If you are still deciding whether to sell at all, our guide to how to start selling feet pics walks through pricing, watermarking and staying anonymous first. The plan question only matters once you have something listed, and you can create a free page and test demand without paying a subscription anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
How much does FeetFinder cost per month?
Either $4.99 a month on the Basic plan or $14.99 a month on Premium, charged whether you sell anything or not, plus a commission of 10% on Basic or 0% on Premium taken from each sale, per the terms effective 30 January 2026. On a $100 month the total cost is $14.99 on either plan.
Is FeetFinder Premium worth it?
Only above $100 a month in sales. That is the point where Premium’s 10 percentage point lower commission recovers its $10 higher subscription. Below $100 the Basic plan leaves you with more money, and at $50 a month in sales Premium costs you 30% of your earnings.
Can you switch between FeetFinder plans?
Yes, plans are subscriptions rather than contracts, so you can move up when your sales justify it. The sensible approach is to start on Basic, watch your monthly sales for two or three months, and upgrade only once you clear $100 a month consistently.
Does FeetFinder charge you if you make no sales?
Yes. The subscription is charged regardless of sales, so a month with no sales costs $4.99 on Basic or $14.99 on Premium. This is the most commonly missed cost in FeetFinder reviews and the main reason new sellers should avoid the Premium plan.
