Clips4Sale Payouts by Method, Minimum and Fee

Start earning on HerFans

Free to join, one flat fee on what you sell, and no monthly seller subscription.

Clips4Sale pays creators once a month, on the 7th, for the previous month’s sales. You keep 60% of clip sales and 80% of tips and custom videos. A US creator needs $50 in a month to be paid (Canada $100, everywhere else $150), otherwise the balance rolls over. ACH and checks are free in the US, a wire costs $20, USDT crypto $10, and Clips4Sale does not pay through PayPal.

Every figure here comes from the Clips4Sale creator help center, read on 15 October 2026. Most pages that rank for this question are spam or are about other sites, so we quote the source and point out where it says nothing. We run HerFans, a competing creator platform, so read our comparison near the end with that in mind.

When does Clips4Sale pay you?

Clips4Sale pays on the 7th of each month for everything you sold in the previous calendar month. There is no weekly or on-request option in its help center. In practice that means a clip sold on 1 October is paid on 7 November, 37 days later, and a clip sold on 31 October is paid a week later, on the same day. On average your money waits about three weeks after the sale.

If you want to change where the money goes, do it early. The help center says a change of banking details must reach Clips4Sale at least 2 business days before the end of the month to apply to the next payout, and it needs a photo ID and your new banking details sent through a signed form, not a quick edit in settings.

What is the minimum payout on Clips4Sale?

The minimum payout on Clips4Sale is $50 for creators in the US and US territories, $100 in Canada and $150 everywhere else. If your month’s sales fall short, nothing is lost: the balance carries over to the next month and keeps building until it clears the minimum. The help center says the minimum “starts at” those amounts, so you can select a higher one for your store.

For a new store this matters more than it looks. A US creator who sells $30 in her first month and $30 in her second is paid $60 on the 7th of the third month, roughly 60 to 90 days after her first sale.

Clips4Sale payout methods and fees

What you can choose depends on where you live. Here is the full list from the help center, with the fee Clips4Sale takes from each payout:

Two details catch people out. Paxum, the payout wallet many adult creators use, is open to every account type except US individuals, so a US creator selling in her own name is limited to ACH, check, wire or crypto. And a flat fee hits small payouts hardest: a $20 wire on a $100 payout is 20% of it, while ACH costs nothing at any size. Unless you need the money abroad, pick ACH.

Does Clips4Sale pay through PayPal?

No. PayPal is not on the Clips4Sale list of payout methods, and that is normal for adult clip stores, because PayPal’s rules do not allow payments for sexually explicit digital content. US creators are paid by ACH, check, wire or USDT. If PayPal is the account you want paid into, you need a platform that offers it; we compare those in our guide to sites like OnlyFans with PayPal.

How much does Clips4Sale take from creators?

Clips4Sale takes 40% of every clip sale and 20% of tips and custom videos, so you keep 60% and 80%. The help center states the 60% and 80% plainly, and the Custom Video terms, last updated on 10 June 2026, set custom commission at 80% of the custom payment. Photo sets have no rate of their own in the help center.

What sold for $1,000Clips4Sale shareYou keep on Clips4SaleYou keep on HerFans
Clips40%$600$800 on posts and pay-per-view
Tips20%$800$800
Custom videos20%, released after delivery and review$800$800 on a custom request

Custom videos come with a condition. Under those terms the fan’s payment is held until you deliver the video and it passes Clips4Sale’s compliance review; only then is your 80% calculated and released into your next monthly payout. The default turnaround is four weeks unless you offered faster delivery, and the countdown starts when the customer pays, not when you click start.

The #EarnMore referral programme does not change your own rate. A creator you refer still keeps 60% on clips and 80% on tips; your 5% of her net sales for her first 12 months comes out of Clips4Sale’s share and is added to your monthly payout automatically.

Where to see your Clips4Sale payout history

In the Creator Workspace, open the menu under your avatar and choose Payout Settings. The Payout Summary lists every payout by date, and the PDF button beside each one downloads its invoice. Keep those invoices; your accountant will ask for them, and if you sell on more than one platform it helps to turn those PDF invoices into a spreadsheet so a year of payouts can be added up in one place.

Taxes on Clips4Sale payouts in the US

Every US creator who opens a store has to file a W-9 with Clips4Sale, and its help center says it sends a 1099-MISC to US studio owners who earn $600 or more in a tax year. Whether or not a form arrives, what you earn is self-employment income: set aside money for income tax and the 15.3% self-employment tax, and pay quarterly once the amount is meaningful. Our guide to creator taxes walks through the deductions that apply to clip sellers too.

How Clips4Sale payouts compare with HerFans

Being honest about it: Clips4Sale is one of the oldest clip stores, with buyers who search by fetish category, and it covers chargebacks. If your catalogue is niche clips and you want marketplace traffic, it is a sound place to list. Where it is weaker is the 60% on clips and the single monthly payout date.

On HerFans you keep 80% of what you sell, including clips sold as pay-per-view posts, and you request a payout yourself, from $10, to an IBAN or PayPal account in your own name, sent within three business days. Each sale is pending for 30 days first, with 10% held as a reserve until day 120, so new money is not instant on our side either. The difference is the share you keep and that you choose the day. Every platform’s published rate is side by side in our creator payout percentage comparison, and the full picture of Clips4Sale, beyond payouts, is in our Clips4Sale review.

Many creators keep their Clips4Sale store for buyers who find them there and add a page of their own for fans who want more than one clip a month. If that is your plan, the clip sites that suit it are compared in sites like Clips4Sale, and you can create your HerFans page in a few minutes.
