A paywall is not a shop window. If nobody is subscribing, the problem is almost never the content, and posting more of it is the most common wasted month in this business.

OnlyFans has no meaningful internal discovery. There is no recommendation feed that puts an unknown creator in front of a browsing buyer, so a page reaches exactly the people you send to it and nobody else. That is the structural reason an account with good photographs and no outside traffic sits at zero subscribers for months. The arithmetic in the company's own filed accounts supports it: Fenix International reported about 7.22 billion dollars spent by fans in the 2024 financial year and about 5.78 billion paid out to creators, spread across roughly 4.63 million creator accounts, which is an average in the low hundreds of dollars a year per account. The average is dragged down by millions of pages that nobody was ever sent to.
So the honest diagnosis is almost always traffic, not talent. That is good news, because traffic is a solvable problem and talent is not a lever you can pull this week.
This is the part of the product we spent the most on, because it is the complaint we heard most often. Three surfaces send people to creators who have no audience of their own:
Alongside that there are the tools that turn a visitor into a paying fan: free trial links you can hand out with a time limit and a use limit, subscription bundles, promotional prices, a message that goes to everyone at once, and a plain view of which fans spend and which have gone quiet.
The honest limit: this is a smaller audience than OnlyFans has. Discovery that works on a platform with fewer buyers is still fewer buyers. What it is not is zero reach, which is what a paywall with no traffic gives you.
Do not buy subscriber packages. Do not follow and unfollow thousands of accounts. Do not post the same promotional message into communities that have asked people not to, because the account you burn is the one carrying your link. And do not sign anything exclusive in exchange for a promise of promotion until you have seen the promotion.
A paywall reaches the people you send to it and nobody else. Posting more behind it does not change the arithmetic.
Free posts and a bio that says what a subscription contains are the shop window. A stranger will not pay to find out what he is buying.
A public browsing surface, category pages and a ranking that deliberately tests new posts in front of real viewers.
There are fewer buyers here than on OnlyFans. Fewer buyers who can find you still beats none who can.

Fans subscribe, tip and unlock your content. You ask for a payout from your dashboard once your available balance reaches the published minimum. Each sale is pending for 30 days, the period in which refunds and most card disputes arrive, and 10% of it is held as a reserve until day 120. For a sale paid by card, the reserve is held longer, up to day 206, because our card processor keeps its own reserve on that payment for 26 weeks and it is released to you once it has been returned to us.
