Best Cam Sites for Models Who Want to Stay Anonymous
Free to join, one flat fee on what you sell, and no monthly seller subscription.
The best cam sites for models who want to stay anonymous are Chaturbate, LiveJasmin and Stripchat, because each lets you block viewers by US state and not only by country. Chaturbate blocks individual states, Canadian provinces and UK regions. LiveJasmin hides you from your home country or state plus up to three more and has a Hide Your Face option. Stripchat blocks regions of most countries and lets you hide the country flag taken from your ID.
Every privacy setting below is quoted from the sites’ own help centers and model pages, read in October 2026: Chaturbate’s broadcaster support articles, LiveJasmin’s Model Center and Services Agreement, Stripchat’s model help center and Streamate’s model site. We run HerFans, which is a content platform rather than a cam site, so it appears at the end for comparison and we say where it does less.

Which cam sites let you block your state?
Most people who want anonymity on cam are not hiding from the whole world. They are hiding from the people within driving distance: family, coworkers, an ex. For a US model that means blocking her own state, and a country-only block is useless because it would hide her from the entire US market. Three of the big sites go below country level.
| Site | Smallest area you can block | Face hiding | Other privacy settings |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chaturbate | US states, Canadian provinces, UK regions | Your choice of framing | Recommends blocking your home state |
| LiveJasmin | Home country or state plus 3 more countries or states | Hide Your Face option | Banned-words list for your chat |
| Stripchat | Regions of most countries | Your choice of framing | Hide the country flag from your ID |
| Streamate | “Certain locations” (geographic restrictions) | Not stated | Profile shown on 4,000+ network sites |
Every one of these blocks works from the viewer’s IP address. That is the honest limit of the whole category, and we come back to it below.
Chaturbate: the most detailed location block
Chaturbate’s help center says its geo-blocking “allows you to restrict which countries, states and/or regions can view your cam”, and that the feature was extended so you can block particular states within the United States, provinces within Canada and regions within the United Kingdom. You set it under My Profile, then Settings and Privacy, then Broadcaster Settings, by moving a country or state into the Blocked box. Viewers using IP addresses in a blocked area, anonymous or registered, cannot open your room.
Chaturbate goes further than most sites in telling models to use it: its Rules and Safety article says it is “highly recommended to block your home state from viewing your room”. It is also upfront about the weakness, noting that geo-blocking “may not always provide full coverage” because there may be IPs the tool does not register.
LiveJasmin: the only big site with a hide-your-face setting
LiveJasmin’s Model Center lets you make your account invisible to users in your home country or state and block users from up to three additional countries or states. That is fewer slots than Chaturbate, but enough for most US models: your own state plus the neighbors you commute through.
What sets it apart is the face. LiveJasmin’s Services Agreement normally requires everyone on camera to be visible and recognizable, and showing only body parts is not acceptable, but it makes an exception when you turn on the Hide Your Face option. The FAQ calls it Face Visibility and presents it as a way to stay anonymous while streaming. You can also keep a banned-words list for your chat, which helps stop viewers who try to fish for your real name or city. LiveJasmin warns that blocked words can affect your traffic, so use it for specific terms rather than whole topics.
The price of that privacy is a stricter rulebook. The agreement deducts money from your earnings, doubling each time, if you advertise other sites or ask members for money or private information. Our page on LiveJasmin earnings covers the share, payouts and those deductions in detail.
Stripchat: regions plus a hidden country flag
Stripchat’s help center says you can ban countries from your Settings and Privacy page and, for most countries, choose specific regions as well. It is candid that enabling the block “may negatively impact traffic in your room”, which is true of every site on this list.
Stripchat has one setting the others do not mention. Your profile shows a country flag, and you appear when viewers filter models by country. Stripchat assigns that country automatically from the country that issued your ID and you cannot change it, but you can hide it under Settings and Privacy, then Country Appearance. If you live somewhere with few models, a visible flag narrows you down more than you might expect, so most anonymous models should turn it off.
Streamate: wide reach, vague controls
Streamate tells new models they can set up geographic restrictions to hide the profile from people in certain locations, but its public pages do not say how fine those restrictions go. It also says your profile will be visible on more than 4,000 sites in its network. For income that is the selling point. For anonymity it cuts the other way: your photos and stage name travel much further than one domain, which makes them easier for someone to stumble on.
What no cam site can hide for you
A location block is a filter on IP addresses, not a wall. A viewer on a VPN, traveling, or on a mobile network that routes through another state can still reach your room, and anyone in an allowed area can screen-record a show and repost it. The sites say this themselves. So the block is one layer, and the other layers are on you:
- Use a stage name everywhere, including your username, your social accounts and any wishlist. Never reuse a handle you have used under your real name.
- Clean your background. Mail, framed photos, a view from a window and distinctive furniture identify rooms. A plain wall is the safest backdrop.
- Keep your address off the internet. People-search sites publish home addresses scraped from public records, and that is how a leaked clip turns into someone at your door. It is worth taking the time to get your home address off people-search sites before you go live, not after.
- Separate your money trail. Payouts go to a real name, so do not take payments outside the platform where a fan sees that name.
- Plan for leaks. Register what you make and know how a takedown works. Our guide to DMCA takedowns for creators walks through the notice.
Which cam site is best for staying anonymous?
For a US model whose main worry is being seen by people nearby, Chaturbate is the strongest choice, because it blocks any number of individual states and tells you to block your own. LiveJasmin is the best choice if you do not want your face shown at all, since it is the only one of these sites with a written Hide Your Face option. Stripchat is a good middle ground if you also want your country flag hidden. Streamate is the weakest fit for privacy because its network spreads your profile across thousands of sites.
Whichever you pick, set the block before your first broadcast. A clip recorded in your first week does not disappear when you change a setting later.
Where HerFans fits
HerFans is a subscription platform for women creators, not a cam site, so you post photos and clips instead of streaming live. Privacy works differently there. You can block whole countries, and the block holds across your profile, the feed, search, Explore, stories and messages, so a blocked visitor does not find you one scroll away. Every photo and video you post carries a permanent herfans.com/username mark in the corner, which makes a reposted file traceable to the page it came from.
It is also fair to say what HerFans does not do. Our block works by country, not by US state, so it will not hide you from your own state the way Chaturbate can, and like every site it relies on IP addresses. What it adds is income that does not need a camera or your face: faceless content sells too. You set a monthly price from $4.99, sell pay-per-view posts and paid messages and keep 80% of every sale. If you want a second income line with your face out of it, you can create your HerFans page in a few minutes, or read our guide to earning without showing your face first.
