How to earn promoting creators on email newsletters

An email recommendation arrives in a space the reader has chosen to share with you. Respect that choice by matching the newsletter's stated topic and commercial purpose. Introduce a creator through public, safe information and make the destination and your affiliate relationship clear before the click.

Start with consent and a predictable editorial promise

Use only a list whose subscribers knowingly agreed to receive the type of email you are sending. Do not buy addresses, scrape contacts or assume that a past conversation allows promotional mail. Explain the newsletter's subject when people sign up and provide a straightforward way to unsubscribe. Honour that choice instead of moving the address to another list. Keep the subject line accurate and identify yourself clearly. Do not invent urgency or disguise an affiliate recommendation as an account warning. Choose a public creative topic that fits what subscribers actually asked to receive.

Check both the sending service and the destination

Email services can restrict adult businesses, affiliate offers or particular destinations even if the message itself is safe. Use SFW copy and authorised public images, then check whether your sending service allows the proposed recommendation and link. Platform rules change, so read the current service policies and applicable mailing requirements before sending. Do not hide the destination through redirects or label it as something unrelated. Put the commercial disclosure near the recommendation, not only in an unreadable footer. Avoid sexual previews, repeated unwanted messages and earnings claims. Respect a refusal without sending a private follow up advertisement.

Choose the offer and place the right link

A focused creator feature can use the creator's permitted link, while an allowed introduction to the platform can use your general HerFans link. HerFans registration is for adults aged 18 or older and needs only an email address and a code. Use the single /affiliate dashboard to manage your promotion. The /affiliate/offers list shows creators who have enabled their own programme. Each creator chooses a rate of 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 percent of the creator's share of sales. Your dashboard provides a general HerFans link and links to specific creators. Choose the destination that matches your recommendation and publish it only where the channel permits that destination. A fan is attributed through the last qualifying click within 30 days. Revenue share continues for the lifetime of the fan you bring under the programme terms.

Understand the share before estimating commission

The affiliate rate applies to the creator share after the platform takes its 20 percent fee, never to the full purchase price. For a calculation example, suppose 25 fans each spend an average of 16 USD monthly. The creator receives 80 percent, or 12.80 USD per fan. At a 30 percent rate, your commission is 3.84 USD per fan and 96.00 USD monthly across those fans. This is an arithmetic example, not an earnings promise.

Separate recorded commission from available money

Newsletter opens do not confirm a purchase, so base your commission planning on eligible activity rather than the mailing list. Commission waits 60 days before becoming available. A payout requires at least 50 USD and a one time identity verification, using an IBAN or PayPal account in your own name. Refunds and chargebacks reverse the associated commission. Buying through your own links leads to account blocking. Never describe recorded commission as money ready to withdraw. Review your /affiliate dashboard before planning a payout, and keep your recommendations accurate when a creator changes what is publicly available. To promote creators responsibly, identify your affiliate relationship and explain revenue share without promising income.

How to get started

  1. Check the publishing space

Confirm consent for this newsletter topic and check service rules for the exact destination.

  2. Select a creator programme

Join with your email address and code if you are 18+, open /affiliate/offers, review the creator rate and copy the appropriate link from /affiliate.

  3. Prepare an honest recommendation

Write an SFW feature with an accurate subject, visible affiliate disclosure and an easy unsubscribe option.

  4. Review the outcome

Honour unsubscribes, correct stale recommendations and review /affiliate without treating email opens as purchases.

Questions and answers

Can I send a creator recommendation to a purchased list?

No. Use subscribers who knowingly agreed to the relevant type of newsletter. A purchased address list does not establish that permission.

Can I use any link that opens correctly?

No. Technical access does not establish permission. Follow the channel rules for both the post and its destination, and use your general HerFans link or a specific creator link only where allowed.

How long can a referred fan generate commission?

Attribution uses the last qualifying click within 30 days. The programme provides lifetime revenue share from the fan you bring, subject to its terms. A click alone does not mean a purchase.

When can I request a payout?

Commission becomes available after 60 days. The minimum payout is 50 USD, after one time identity verification, to an IBAN or PayPal account in your name. Refunds and chargebacks reverse commission.
