Match the link to the promise

Use the general HerFans link for an introduction to the platform and a creator link for a recommendation about a specific creator. Copy it from /affiliate and compare the destination with the wording beside it. If you edit an address manually, remove part of it or replace it with a plain profile URL, the page may still open while your referral is no longer represented. Preserve the panel supplied link.

Read the last click rule carefully

HerFans uses the last qualifying click within 30 days to attribute a fan. Imagine a visitor follows your link, then another promoter’s qualifying link before attribution. The last click rule means the earlier visit alone does not secure the referral. This is an explanation of attribution, not an earnings example. It does not mean that every future purchase must happen within the same window after a fan has already been attributed.

Investigate a route without bypassing privacy

In referral systems generally, cookies help a browser remember a visit, but browser restrictions, clearing stored data or moving to another device can affect continuity. Do not present that general mechanism as a guarantee about every HerFans visit. Record the published link, destination and the sequence you observed. Check your panel and remove unsupported claims from your copy. Never tell a fan to weaken privacy settings or use a related account to force attribution.

Keep the recommendation suitable for its channel

Promote only to adults aged 18 or over and use a service that permits the intended promotion. Read the rules for the actual placement, including its advertising policy when buying ads. Permission to publish an ordinary profile does not necessarily mean permission to advertise adult content or to link to it. Keep promotional text and images free of graphic sexual material, particularly on general audience channels. State clearly that the destination is for adults. Do not direct the recommendation at minors, use youth focused communities or present an age warning as permission to post wherever you want.

Disclose that your link is an affiliate recommendation and that you may receive a commission from qualifying purchases. Use materials you have permission to use and describe the destination accurately. Do not impersonate the creator, promise personal access she has not offered, invent testimonials or suggest guaranteed earnings. Check the relevant service and payment operator rules as well as the programme terms. If a channel does not allow the promotion, choose a permitted setting instead of hiding the destination. Understand the commission base

A creator decides whether to enable her affiliate programme. She chooses a commission rate of 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 percent of her own share of sales. HerFans takes a platform fee of 20 percent from a creator sale, so the affiliate percentage applies to the amount left for her, rather than the full amount paid by the fan. Check the creator offer before publishing a recommendation. A headline percentage alone does not tell a reader how the calculation works, and a higher rate does not establish that an audience will buy.

For a calculation example, a fan spends 10 USD. After the platform fee, the creator share is 8 USD. At a 30 percent affiliate rate, the commission is 8 × 0.30 = 2.40 USD. This is an arithmetic example, not an earnings promise. It also is not an immediately withdrawable payment. Commissions wait 60 days before becoming available, part is additionally held in a refund reserve, and a refund or chargeback reverses the related commission. Keep those distinctions in your own notes when comparing an offer or explaining the programme to someone else.
